Chat-A-Thon Thread

thanks for the support everyone. while i realize it may seem like all of a sudden at 18 im like.. GAH.. but actually until they hit their teen years they were both extremely helpful and neat kids.. everything always had a place.. then not sure what happened. guess for me it was i'd rather clean it up then listen to them whine etc. bad i know. boy am i learning that now. he's really a good kid when it comes to cleaning. just every once in a while like all of us he needs a kick in the butt ya know.
just showed him the list and chart and he's like 'cool. i can do that. it helps to see what i need to do cause sometimes i forget'.. lol sometimes? LOL.
at least he's honest.
will see how this goes. i'll update in a week :)

My house smells amazing right now... I've got 3 loaves of pumpkin bread in the oven! Planning on roasting a chicken for supper with some potatoes, carrots, and turnip :) I feel all 1950's housewife-y right now LOL... if only I had a husband to go with it ;)

The kids are both okay today! Thanks for asking bub and sheets.

DS's fever broke last night. YAY! They both ended up sleeping in until 8:20am - never heard of in this house, they are usually up by 6am.

So, by the time they eat breakfast and got washed up and dressed and I triple checked they still didn't have a fever, we were a bit late for preschool. lol.

I've spent the am running around trying to get as much errands done as possible just in case I got a call to pick one or both up. lol

sometimes its better with out em sheets.. sometimes. enjoy!

Almost 2pm so they must be doing well. I'll be picking them up around 4pm. :)

Went to WM this morning, wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

My list was small but I still spent $220. GAH! Diapers are sooo expensive! I ended up getting DD another big box for nighttime because the nighttime diapers were crazy expensive. Something like $28 for 40, meanwhile the huge boxes of reg. diapers were $33 for 140!!! So, yep she's wearing reg. diapers at night for 140 more nights. hahahaha.

Thanks for the update Lola, glad they're better! Always a relief eh? :) I sooo don't miss buying diapers... now if only I could get little guy to quit wetting the bed at night we'd be done with goodnights too!

i think i am getting the cold they have. my nose has been ITCHY ITCHY ITCHY all day. took a claritin ... helped for a while. but now my throat is dry and tingly. ughhhhhhhhh nooooo i haven't had a cold in years and years.

I really should not say or type things like that! I got a call from the preschool a few minutes later. :(

DD is still totally fine but DS was cranky and had a borderline fever. Picked them both up and just gave them a cool bath. Now they are watching a movie.
