morning everyone. dropped dd1 off at JK today. she's the star today so she's very excited to go today. she gets to do her first 'show and share'. what an agonizing decision for little ones haha. she chose her rock collection she got at the science center in Sudbury.

going to take the girls to sobeys tonight for their cupcake decorating class for father's day. think if I freeze decorated cupcakes for a day or so the icing will still be okay?

I need to pick up a father's day pressie for DH still. really not sure what to get him. his birthday is in a couple weeks and i'm getting him a power washer so I don't really want to spend a whole lot. we're going to take him out to dinner for a surprise...gracie chose 'wimpys' so we can have breakfast for dinner (its kind of our thing we do once in awhile) so I think we'll do that... as for a gift I think GT has some nice black and decker yard tools (heavy duty sheers and stuff) so maybe that.

Icing should be fine frozen over night.

tools are always a good gift. if he's got all the tools he need already, think about extra battery packs for the tool. it's always a piss of working with something then the battery die and no back up...have to stop and let it charge.

I always worry when sc'rs that I know haven't been around for a while. Let us know if you catch up with anyone. Just to let us know they're alright. It seems that almost everyday, things come up, especially those with young children and there never seems to be enough hours in a day. And, with summer coming, a lot of people get even busier. If I'm going to be away for any period of time (that I know about ) I try to let a few people on here aware of that fact. It seems like most of us here are worriers of others. I think it's a mom thing
