So true Holly. They say once you're a Mom you never stop worrying, even when they're big :-).

Have a great weekend everyone. Happy Father's Day to all the dads :)
I haven't, and she had so much going on before, I've been wondering for a while about her...
That's one tough part of SC, people move on - and it's harder when they don't say anything.
That would be great - just to know that they are okay.
Well said, Holly!
My son has strict instructions to come on here and post if something is up that I can't - he knows what it's like to have a forum of friends!
I got a pleasant surprize this morning when I saw a post on the fake twitter page from trucks - she hasn't been around in a very long time. She didn't respond to a question from me, but maybe she'll have time to come back on.
Good morning, all!
Yup, still raining here...

This rivals a military operation!!!!
Whew...the plans and execution of our grandson's 5th b'day would make General Patton proud!! Everything in the world is "Spiderman", and omg, you should see the Spiderman cake our DD made for him..the helium balloons, streamers, game supplies, prizes, food, lordy, I don't remember it being like this when our kids were young!! And the rule is, if his little friends want to go into the pool, at least one parent has to be present...so that'll up the total!Whew...the plans and execution of our grandson's 5th b'day would make General Patton proud!!Everything in the world is "Spiderman", and omg, you should see the Spiderman our DD made for him..the helium balloons, stream
LOL Lynn, you're so excited you're repeating yourself! Have a blast!
I only had one birthday party with friends over when I was young, it was my sixth. Other ones were just with family.
When our son was young, we were very 'anti-' the big overblown birthday party craze. We always had his parties at home with his friends over - homemade everything - usually hotdogs, snackies, cake - great games, and lots of fun. We always heard from kids - and the parents - that they had the best time EVER! We didn't have $$ to spare, so everything was always done on the cheap, but it was great!
One year, maybe his 8th? we did a castles/knights theme, and gosh it was fun. Kids talked about it well into high school - and yes, we did banana jousting in the backyard on a very cold October day!

Just thought I would post a little something while at the library lol. Only have 10 mins of computer time left.
Hey Cabbie,
Hope you're doing well. Take care, and have a great weekend :-).
