ima thinking of putting the ac on here too Lynn, im melting already, BUT the cupcakes are done. i now have 12 'hamburger' cupcakes and 18 'popsicle' cupcakes. (check out pinterest for pics of the first one) for the second its white whipped icing with two mike and ike candys with wee little toothpick ends in them.. popsicles. :)

morning all.. woke to the power going off at 1030?? still not sure why...
long but great day yesterday, perfect weather, lot of great food and friends to celebrate my kids day..now looking forward to a relaxing day and week. minus painting the kitchen.
Yes, Natalka, absolutely relaxing today! Too many hours spent in heels (even low ones!) and last night I paid for it by having cramping in one instep, and this morning my hips, knees and ankles are paying for it! The "kids" are off to Vegas, flying out of Toronto soon, hubby and our grandson are at Science North (where I had one of my two weddings yesterday), then they'll probably have lunch somewhere, then I'll be joining them at our kids' house so he can jump in the pool...an easy afternoon, then dinner, then a movie-night at home then hubby sleeps over there, and Jenny and I come home for the night.
Hubby will drive him to summer-school in the morning....or summer camp..I'm not sure what it's called...:)
Hope everyone is enjoying this HOT weekend! Isn't this what we waited for all those long, dark, cold winter days??

Wow, Lynn, what a busy weekend!
Well, I really DO complain about the heat! Yesterday was awesome, it rained all day and was cool, but it got really muggy in the evening.
This week, two fans crapped out on us - so that's an expense to replace that I wasn't expecting, gah!
Funny how the one fan I first got when I moved out of home in the late '70s is still working perfectly!
I got a raok of 4 liter of mini red cherries by one of my neighbour not in my bloc another one,they have a garden and a big yard,gotta love kind neighbour and it good to know I am more appreciated than I think in my ''quartier'' lol...And I can pick some more if I want...I was so but so surprise lol.mmm they are good and sweet,will find a way to cook with them:) Made my day lol:)
