We put inserts with this information in the report cards in June. No point in people guessing/worrying all summer. But for privacy reasons "lists" can no longer be posted. So unless kids have been told prior, I am afraid it is usually as Luv has said.Quote:

Last evening, power was out for almost two hours - mad scramble for flashlights and candles! Enjoyed an hour talking with my son!
Found a portable radio, so went to bed with that, then before I fell asleep power came back on - fan coming on scared me, though!
Took a bit of fiddling to get the computer back to sanity this morning, but it's here.

morning everyone! lots to do here for the next couple days..or so it seems. dh's parents are coming down tomorrow until Monday. we have another family reunion on Saturday and dd1's 5th birthday is on sunday. if I don't see anymore Barbie for awhile i'll be a happy camper. she wanted a purple and pink Barbie cake for her birthday so yesterday I made a purple cake in my wilton wonder pan and put it in the freezer. i'll do the fondant on Saturday night. still playing with some ideas for that. just need to pick up some chocolate bars (hopefully the one with the coupons on them) at walmart for the piniata, make a couple more decorations, and practice my glitter tattoo skills. gah! so much fun though.

We went to a party and the cake was so neat. It had a barbie on the side, kind of like this one:

I asked the mom and she said Michaels has just the tops of Barbie for cakes like this. Who knew? lol. So cool!
