My name is Lynn, and I'm becoming addicted to the "My Singing Monsters" game.
It's SO much fun!!!

Anyway!!We put our trailer in a lot to over-winter (sob) today....so sad to leave her behind: I know she felt rejected and alone....
I have a wedding rehearsal tomorrow, Friday off, then the wedding Saturday, then Sunday a clean-up at the dog park...Monday shall be my day of rest...

Husband just came home just before noon. No vehicle.

He was third in a line of four vehicles involved.... all started by some arse who was driving erratically - and because it was on a bridge, he had no way to veer to avoid it, he at least got to the side a bit - but still his radiator, etc. were all busted up...

Luckily, no one in the other vehicles was hurt, either - amazing, considering the speed limit is 90km/hr.

SO, not his fault (uh, not what started the accident but who knows what the insurance co will say, he did hit the other vehicle in front of him, and a vehicle hit him from behind, too) - but he's left with no vehicle and he has to have one for work.

He's also worried because he was in an accident this past winter when he was driving on a icy slope of road and some arse stopped short and there were six or so vehicles piled up. Not much damage to his van then, but he was assessed as at fault for that (points, surcharge) - even thought there was nothing anyone could do to stop...

OY, I'm just so depressed right now.....
And I have to stay strong for him because he feels so badly about adding this trouble to our current situation.

OMG, talk about panicking!

I couldn't get on SC, my main email account, some other assorted sites either til just now!
Don't know what the heck was up - I had done a total shutdown, malware scan, etc. and just when I tried it now, I was SO excited that I could get on SC!

Gosh, what an eye-opener this was for me - I know I love it here, but sheesh!
Then I realized that any emails I have for SCers are on that one main email account - I now am going to write some of them down in a notebook - and transfer them to another email account, just in case!
Not that I regularly email anyone here - but in a 'just in case', if I couldn't get on SC for some reason, I'd email someone to share the news I was okay!

Ok, take a breath, self!

Now I have so much to catch up on - things I usually do from three to six a.m., now I need to get done this late morning!

Thanks, all, for the hugs and support regarding our recent run of icks in our life - insurance adjuster can't see the van for a week, so that's just poopy. Our mechanic son went to look at it yesterday, and is sure it will be written off - not that we'll get much for it, it's very old.

Husband is driving our son's car (lol on him, it's a very noisy old Mustang with a stick) for now, but we have a lead on another van for husband for work - has to hold a lot of tools and a ladder...

Yeah, it would be a very good time for a lottery win - cuz no matter how frugal we've been, our money tree died a long time ago!
