Rats...our DD's flight has been cancelled from here to TO; it's lovely here, but their plane can't get off the ground out of TO, so now they're driving down; just what they didn't want to do...:( I pray they'll be safe on those highways, esp through the Parry Sound/Barrie snow-belt corridor ......
OOPS! Scratch that!! They decided to stay put with the weather and road conditions down there....I think that's a very smart decision and this Mom will not panic now...whew!!

Yay...we've decided to take our grandson to see the IMAX show: Santa vs the Snowman in 3D this afternoon! It's supposed to be really well done...:)
Party is over and we survived! Next year I'm definitely taking the easy way out and going somewhere! lol.
Was fun but a tad bit insane with 12 - 4&5 year olds. Glad it's over!
And now unto Christmas! Tree has been downstairs hiding (warming up and hopefully falling) for just over a day so we'll bring it up and decorate it tomorrow.

-15 today, sun, clouds, no snow thank goodness...so many travel into town to shop on weekends, glad it's not bad driving out there...
We got a fair dump of snow yesterday, SO many accidents in the city, just crazy...
Glad it will warm up for today and tomorrow - single minus temp by afternoon!

Hi, everyone...gosh, it seems as if each day is busy in its own way lately....don't you THINK I could find a really nice pair of warm off-white mittens for our DD to go with the jacket I bought her? Uh-uh. And I don't want to start knitting a pair at this late date, although they'd only take a couple of tv evenings at the most...sigh...off to look for patterns...

Our DD called 911 on a driver the other day when she was driving back from another of her offices; she said he was going to kill himself, or, more likely someone else...mid afternoon and he must have been drunk as a skunk (are they ever really drunk?)....the operator really appreciated it and was working to have someone apprehend him...jerk. Anyway....be careful, okay?
Lynn, that ticker of yours.... I always have to remember to subtract one day because we do it all on Christmas Eve!
