Late start to my computer day (though I've been up since after 3) - computer decided to freeze, gah! Hopefully all good now.

Just finished writing a letter and am downloading some books to read while camping.
Trying to decide if I should turn off my phone and leave it at home.

Just finished blanching a cabbage for leaves for cabbage rolls in the near future. House stinks but kinda in a nice way, if you know what I mean!

No big weekend plans, just homey stuff!

Almost done back to school shopping - thankfully I really didn't need to get too much. DD is in the same size for everything so just some new clothes to spruce up her closet. I even had shoes from last season -Reebok had a BOGO so I got 2 pairs of indoor shoes and she still has 1 set in the closet so she's set for indoor shoes this year.

I worked on her teacher gift last night (thanks Pinterest!). I think I'm happy with this (and a Tim's GC):

Lotion to give you a smooth start.
Hand Sanitizer to keep you happy and healthy.
Animal cookies for when your classroom seems like a zoo.
Band-Aids for when things get a little rough.
Tissues to wipe away the tears... yours and theirs.
Candle for when you are up planning lessons.
Extra Gum for all the extra things you do.
Lifesavers for when you've had one of those days.
Starbursts to give you a "burst" of energy when you need it.
Crayons to color your day bright and cheerful.
Erasers to remind you everyone makes mistakes.
Paperclips to hold it all together.
Pencils to "write your wrongs."
Rubber bands to remind you to be flexible.
Highlighters to help you see the bright side of things.
wiggly eyes for when you wish you had eyes in the back of your head.
Stickers to help you stick with it.
Tylenol for those trying students and situations.
And a little something extra to help you get back into the
DAILY GRIND!
