BF & I are going to be going to Ontario from the 21st-29th. We're going to stay with his sister in Barrie for a few days, then Oshawa for a few days & Toronto for a few days.
I was wondering if anyone knew any sites that perhaps have printable coupons to save money on restaurants or entertainment kind of things? I live in NB & we have a site here that you can print BOGO coupons for various restaurants & tourist attractions. Would love to save a few $$$ if we could.
Any tips would be great!

Any body in your group a CAA member? There is a whole page of discounts for CAA members on their website.
Welcome centres at most major locations have coupons. Look them up online before travelling.
Also, when you arrive, check the front lobby of local hotels. There is usually a rack of brochures and flyers with discount coupons.
On the Highway 401 rest stops/gas station locations, with Timmies, Wendy's, Starbucks etc, they also have the rack of discount coupons. You will find these gas/food locations on Highway 404 (towards Newmarket) and Highway 400 (towards Barrie).
Nice to know you are coming to Oshawa.

The Attractions Ontario site has lots of printable coupons for tourist attractions. It includes big ones like Wonderland, but also small things like some mini-putts.
Here's the link to their coupon page.

Attractions ontario is definitely the best. For restaurants, try yummycanada. Though you'll rarely find a BOGO in Toronto that doesn't go through groupon, etc. Also try signing up for foursquare. Google it for more but essentially you check in at a place and may get a discount. Some places do discounts but you'll pay long distatance on your phone

I live in Barrie and just bought a coupon book from a local fundraising group. I will scan for restaurant coupons and let you know!

East Side Mario's has happy hour in the bar area (1/2 price appetizers) from 6-8PM daily but may want to confirm this.
2019 is the year that we continue to save before we buy!!!

The Entertainment Coupon book, if you book your hotel for Toronto in advance you could save $ or also CAA members get a discount at alot of Hotels as well.
CAA members also get 10% at East Side Marios Restaurant - as well East Side has half price appetizers as many as you wish during happy hour daily from 6-8pm I believe, double check though.
Also a cheap & reasonable lunch would be at pizza hut for their buffet or the $5 pizza deal after you purchase the 1st one a regular price.
If you do not have the entertainment book ask a friend if you can leaf through theirs, your sister-in-law may have one you can look through & help yourself also the Entertainment book are on for $1.99 I believe, give them a call - you should receive them in time or ask for it to be shipped to your sister-in-laws.
Best of luck & enjoy your vacation & visits.

I will check my entertainment book and see what I have for Toronto attractions and I will let you know and would be more than happy to mail them to you, however, I believe it would be quicker if I mailed them to your sister-in-laws (CP is so slow). Get back to you shortly.
