Hamburger Helper at Walmart

I noticed in the Price Smart flyer last week the hamburger helper was on sale for 1.77 a box so I went to Walmart to price match then the cashier said go get your free hamburger and vegetables that were printed on the box and she scanned the box for it to be FREE . I noticed a couple buying Hamburger Helper so I told them how to price match and after I went through the till I walked through Walmart to find them, I gave them the flyer to price match and also for some extra coupons I had for other items they were buying. It felt so good to help someone out. They were thanking me over and over again. So I gave them the web site for here, so another newbie coming aboard
Just wanted to share my FREE stuff I got from the Hamburger Helper.

Hopefully she doesnt get into trouble when she doesnt have the coupon in her till at the end of the day and it doesnt balance

yes she will be short, coupons are money...if she doesn't have the coupon she will be written up for the shortage

I am a bit confused about this promo, I also read on a different thread about this. Is 2 coupons of the HH, The IGA flyers show $3 off on the box for Hamburger and the other box I saw Free Green Giant but how can you get Hamburger and vegie the same time ??? I am not a HH fans but will do it for the green giant and the hamburger Please help me out....thanks...

You have to buy two boxes of Hamburger Helper one box with the $3.00 hamburger coupon and one box with the Green Giant vegetables coupon then when you use the two coupons you then buy two boxes of Hamburger Helper and one Green Giant vegetables and one hamburger then the cashier takes off the money for the Green Giant vegetables and $3.00 off the hamburger.You will have a total paid for four boxes of Hamburger Helper and one free Green Giant vegetables and hamburger that is $3.00 cheaper.

Yes the coupons on HH reads $3.00 of Hamburger OR if you find a box stating free bag of vegatables. I took both of them, so I got a free bag of veg's and free hamburger

I just called Walmart and explained what took place on this HH a few days ago on my purchase and the free hamburger. The store manager said some cashiers were under the impression they could just scan the box and give it for free and they did this for two days and then the accounting dept told them they can not. So I was not the only person who was told it could be done

I had no intention on purchasing my hamburger that day but she said I could. I was not trying to get her in trouble in anyway nor did I want the store to loose money or have the cashiers to be short in their floats at the end of their shift. My cashier told me it could be done so I did it.

So I wasn't the only one that is has happen to in the last week, thank GOD
I was feeling sooo bad but feel better after calling them. All clear up now

you purchase two HH then cut out your coupon for your free hamburger or vegables which ever coupon came with the box of HH. Then you go back to the store and now purchase two more boxes of HH and when you get to the cashier give her your FREE coupon you cut out of the HH box for hamburger/veg's. To use your free coupon you need to purchase anyother box of HH to be alble to use the coupon

To use coupons it basically says you have to buy a Hamburger helper at the same time to get the free Giant Vegetables and you have to buy a Hamburger Helper at the same time as the hamburger to get $3.00 off the hamburger.
