as long as the second outside is the corn.. and the inside is the cob.. otherwise i would never eat something i've already thrown out..
as well not many food items out there that has 3 layers. peel.. inner piece you eat and then the holder of the item you eat ie corn/corn cob.Be Strong
Be True
Be You.
Simple as that!

hubby says "chicken" cuz u throw away the skin, cook the meat, eat the meat, and throw away the bone.
However, I buy my chicken skinless and boneless (unless I'm making soup broth).

I got thinking about making peach pie:
scald the peach, remove the skin;
remove flesh from the peach;
throw away the pit.
.... and then, once the pie is baked: MMMMMMMmmmmMMMMMmmmmmm
Ditto for anything involving cooked apples that requires peeling! (Because my Grandma's apple pie would be the perfect way to celebrate the defence!)
I do also agree with Sheets and Natalka that corn on the cob would fit perfectly as well
