I dont know what the totals really are now......as I do not have time to even calculate it all, one receipt at a time......lol!! I am trying to use up all the expiring cpns in one week, so many!!

This year February 2011 we started to do hard core coupon usage.
Hit Double Cpn Days at Pharmasave and other finds.

In 1 month - Save with cpns & sales over $1300 Spent about $300.00

We arrived back in Calgary after 2 months housesitting on the Sunshine Coast. On our drive back home, we stopped at so many small town stores and found many cpns for our collection.

Back in Calgary I was itching to get to the local stores to start putting into practice what I have learnt for the past month while reading all the threads on Smart Canucks. We arrived back Thursday night, and I immediately started to sort out cpns and building stacks, and my shopping lists.

Friday more printing, sorting, with my daughter going through all her piles of magazines. Her comment "" I will never look at a magazine the same way from now on...""....lol!! She found tons of cpns in them. Hours of work into building an organized cpn collection.

Friday I go to SDM - Have a great shopping experience, but then I have been a regular shopper at that store for nearly 20 years. She says shopping Friday nights is the smart move as both sales prices are still in effect!! Whoot!!

22 x softlips, 5 x Adidas, Canadian Living Mag, Bread,
    used cpns value $54.00 paid $ 7.52

Drive accross the road to Safeway Buy Popcorn, tin cat food & 20 Glade cone air freshners on sale........ almost get paid to shop!!
Big Guy behind me asked how I did that so I told him about S.C.
HE grinned and said" I can be a Smart Canuck""!! lol!!
    Used 20 x $ 2.00 cpns Paid $1.97

Saturday - Go back to Safeway again, Glade pays for my steak...lol!!
19 Glade items, Steak on Sale, Bread
    Total savings value 99% $43.68 Paid $1.94

Next London Drugs - Rick buys a chocolate bar while holding my ziplock baggies with cpn stacks, Cashier says" enjoy your stacking"".......lol!!!
I had the cashier scratching her head with the soup cpns.
I have Campbells soups stacks valued for $25 for 12 cans of soup x 2.

Get 4 Tide 52 size, 24 soups, 8 broth, 3 toothpate, 8 Old Spice Bwash
    Use $ 137 in cpns Paid $1.46c

Head to Wal Mart - its late now............snoop around.
Find more Glade at $1.00 each buy 17, make $17 dollars to put to my groceries!! Buy stapels we have no cpns for yet.
Total bill was $128 reduced by cpns to $ 60.75

The cashier was a pain in the A!!!! Knew I was in trouble when she called for the supervisor to get help.she then read the riot act to me, saying that cpns were only one per customer.....ak!! Had not noticed that, got 3 item that were with those.........anyhow, she ended up messing up and making a few other mistakes........to my favour!!!

Two days save $382 Pay $72.89

What a 24 hr savings spree!!!
Sunday I am off to use more stacks again!!

The problem cpns at Walmart were not Glade, it was Uncle Ben rice and Nivea!!!

Safeway's Glade prices are typically $2+, where as WM will sell the same product for around $1.
The cool part comes in when Safeway puts them on sale (using the club card) for $1 or so. So the coupon, comes off of a $2(or so) item, but the club card savings, put the customer in the negatives!

Today was another learning experience, and lots more free stuff!!

First stop, 15 min drive - LD Royal Oak - what an amazing huge store. No wonder others from Calgary make a long trek to go there to stack. Phenominal service, but I also heard that the manager and assistant manager are avid coupon users as well..Whoot!!! I have never been there and was thrilled to see a Sobey and Walmart SuperCentre in the same parking lot.

Here is another lesson, read what kind of recycle fees are charged on pop cans and juice bottles...... what a rip off, over and above the refundable deposit. I am going back to check with LD as to why ONE little metal can of guava juice has a .11 c recycle fee, and a dozen of iced tea cans a .12 recycle fee!!
