A lot of these sales are going to be made internationally to people who cannot obtain the products. If you check their sales page, they sell all sorts of goodies - including Lays Ketchup Chips (which are a Canadian exclusive). The shipping prices are outrageous; definitely not for Smart Canucks, but there are people out there with disposable income that will spend lavishly on stuff they want without thinking twice, and will pay this if it's not readily available to them.
Eventually these people wind up on "Til Debt Do Us Part" and can't understand why they're headed towards $300,000 in debt - but that's a whole 'nother story.

I know... a few of my friends now worked in USA and whenever they came back to visit they'll stuff their suitcases with Lays Ketchup Chips and chocolate bars (Mars? or Snickers? along that line...) They even commented that back in high school they're so so on these snacks. But now they don't have access to these and they're constantly craving for them.
Whereas whenever I drove to Seattle I'll buy all these Lays Kettle chips that are not available over here!

Ok so here is my question Im not understanding.....
If we cashed in on the choc. bars deal and got points already then ok. But now with this new rule in place, does this mean we can only do 1 more 8000pts deal while this deal is on? So hubby and I cant go and get say, 4 bars and 4 boxes of crackers on Sunday, and get 16000pts? What if we pay for them seperately but use the same points card for 2 transactions? We will only get points on 1 of the transactions?????
Im pretty blind by the whole points thing and have really only gotten into it more since last christmas so a basis elementary answer would be great!
And if your not sure what Im taking about, its posted on their FB page about an hour ago!

So at least those of us who haven't gotten any yet can hopefully get 8000 points per card now!

Wanted to see what other stuff I could get that qualifies. Went to the coffee section and the Maxwell House tin was 7.99 and 3 of them had a $4 manager's sticker. Took 8 to the cash along with chocolates and the ones with the sticker scanned at 5.99 which means I need a $6 filler to maximize my redemption. So got 6 Colgate Optic White for 1.99 less $1 coupons from the 50th anniversary magazine.

You'd only get 8000pts if you're using the same card. What people aren't realizing is that it's 4 PARTICIPATING KRAFT PRODUCTS - buy 4 chocolate bars, that's 4 Kraft products. So you can't buy 4 chocolate bars and 4 crackers and expect 16000pts, even if you did it in separate transactions.
