Bell canada cut me a cheque!!

I do not know if this should be posted in the brag section, but I was almost gonna toss a letterI got from Bell Canada in the trash today as I thought it was a sales pitch. Turned out to be a cheque for $67.00 that the CRTC made them give all us customers back. I can hardly believe they actually sent them!!
Did anyone else get money from ma Bell?

Got mine today too...I usually toss envies from then, when I know its not the bill. Ive been wondering if I had already recieved it, and threw it out by accident. LOL

I wish I knew how far back it goes. I cannot find the info now but I do remember reading somewhere that if you canceled your land line with Bell then you do not get the rebate. So those people with cell phones, I am not sure how the refund ( if any ) applies to you.

Also I got a letter a while back from Bell talking about this rebate that was coming, and the letter had a $100.00 "coupon" on the bottom kind of tempting us to use it towards a new Bell Mobility activation, or a Bell TV subscription! ha ha

The last 2 sentences read

" Don't wait for your home phone customer rebate cheque in the mail next year. This is a limited time offer, only available in store. "

Sure glad I waited for the mail!

I got mine today ..not sure when it was mailed out but the cheque date is March 10 ..for $ 67.XX

Its a cheque from National Bank . ( For Bell though )

The envelope had a Montreal QC address on the back .

On the front of the envelope it says Bell & Important Account Information Included .

So if you get such an envie from Bell , do not throw it out thinking that its junk mail , it will have a ck. inside

I thought the same thing when I got it and luckily unfolded the sheet inside to find the cheque. What a nice surprise but now I'm stuck reading all their promotions from now on just in case. LOL.

yup my mom got the cheque too and thought it was just for advertising beliveing it's too good to be true..i'm like no mom it says what it's for ..cash it!

Anyone that currently has bell home phone will get the check .The CRTC had bell keep and put away money from customers. It has actually been sitting there for almost 2 years now and they said it has to be sent out to all current bell home phone Cx's. If you used to have it but dont now you will not get it. I work for bell. We found out about this 8 months ago or so.

Bell mobility customers do not get the refund. Only home phone. That's where the money is from
