2x 2 coke for 5.99(guessing ontario pricing - 3 in gingerale coupons

total is 86.66 minus $25 my son picked last weekend. i swear he was born with horseshoes and he is coming with me this weekend like it or not

Vitamins for the cat's raw food=approx. $40
and something cheap that catches my eye if I don't have a $75 total before coupons

Has anyone read the find print regarding this promotion, because your total must be $75.00 after coupons have been deducted in order to receive the surprise points card.

Are you referring to the card they mailed out ?? I don't see where it indicated after coupons. It does say
"after discounts and redemptions" which is the 'regular' wording.

but this is not as good as spend 75$ and get 18500 points so if your subtotal is 75 before coupons you get 18500 points automatically....but in this case i can see your total should be 75 before coupons as other people had problem to get the promo last week because of the coupons,i had gone through with the same problem i spent 50$ befor taxes and was having only 3$ coupon the lady there refused to give me the promo...she called the manager and manager was not aware of this thing about coupons...so he also said no....the second day i went to the same store i bought 13 dove products and paid almost 20$ in coupons plus one 10 gift card that my friend gave it to me..so the lady over there she was very nice so she gave the promo...she was aware of every thing she said your total before taxes was 54.80 so you qulify for the promo...and i also got 6000 bonus points for dove...i only think this only depends on the cashier....so this time i am not going to take any chance...i also called head office about the first time i faced the problem i got serprise when he said i dont qualify for promo but he gave me 3000 points for any trouble i gone through....

Yeah, this is going to be a royal PITA. Most cashiers have no idea about how the coupons are not taken into consideration for promos where points are awarded automatically. I can see going through the cash with 2 baskets full of stuff totalling 75$ and then being told that I don't qualify for the scratch card because the coupons reduced my total below 75$. Call the manager, make people wait behind me etc etc. Almost not worth the hassle. Might just wait for the next 20x promo...

If it's a cashier I'm not familiar with, I ask before I start shopping. If they say no, I take my business to the store nearby that I know will give out the promotion.

As with torontogal12, I'll sit this one out because I've done the last two. Enough for me!

My standard answer has become "Oh, I called HO and they assured me that it'd be okay and not to worry as the computer will instruct the cashier" Never had them insist after that.

They aren't really up to the cashier. The register prompts them to give you the card so let them ring through your things, subtotal, hand you the card when the screen prompts them too, they will give you the points, and then hand them your coupons.

I really want to do this one but since there is the chance the cashier will not give me the points card I think I will pass.
