I usually make apple pies or apple turnovers. You could also try applesauce

This is the best recipe for apple pie that I have come accross:

    http://allrecipes.com/recipe/apple-p...e7=Home%20Page

I do make the following changes to the recipe:

    add 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
    a dash of nutmeg
    add 1 tablespoon vanilla

*** also - I like to mix in some other baking apples as I find the granny smith apples a bit too tart.

This truly is a yummy homemade pie recipe.
