There are good leaders and bad leaders.
For the bad leaders, some are openly idiotic and some are sneaky snakes.

He's the elected leader of a country recognised by the UN and as such is allowed to address the General Assembly. Doesn't mean that other members have to listen to him though.

Canadian delegates again walked out on him following previous years protests.

The statement, attributed to Iran’s Foreign Ministry, warned Iranian citizens against travelling to Canada, citing “Islamophobia,” “Iranophobia” and a “double-standard” in Canada towards human rights.

interestingly, Hubby and I watched a documentry about 2-3 yrs back I think, that was about how the Iranian govt. pays for sex changes for men who feel the need to be women. totally govt funded, full psychiatric support and everything.

As for wondering why he has the right to be alive, perhaps that should be worded a little differently. we might not like a person for whatever reason, but when we question their right to live, well that might be crossing a line.

I would be interested in hearing the viewpoints of ppl who have family roots in and around Iran, and who have lived in that region themselves. They might have better insight into what life in Iran is like, what he is like as a leader for his ppl and how "alive" they would all like him to be.
