my mother in law did a fanatastic favor for us and babysat our tribe of children a few days while i took a course at work and my husband had to work...i would like to send her some flowers as a thank you. any "on the cheap side" flower suggestions?

We don't know where you are.... so hard to give local suggestions.

I like sending flowers through Safeway - and usually do a plant, most often azaleas - they last long, are really beautiful, and don't cost a lot.

I agree Safeway will deliver at a good price. Used them for a friends birthday and were very good value. You can do it on the phone if you have a charge card.
