Yes folks the most controversial coupon in the history of coupons is back. If you missed it here is the original thread. I bet you did not know that Romaine is not a lettuce. Perhaps when presenting this coupons you should have the Pictorial Encyclopedia of Modern Lettuce to back you up. Good luck using this coupon.

I still have some coupons from last year. They have no expiry. I finally need some more bacon bits, but Im scared to use them.
Ive argued with cashiers before, but never over lettuce...I wont back down on that one

Thanks Patty for that little walk down memory lane. There truly was something about that story that struck a chord with most of us couponers and deal chasers. It can be such a non stop battle to get it all to work but then to be turned down in such an absurd way is sort of like the last straw. I'm imagining how some character from a classic comedy show would have reacted, like Basil Fawlty. He probably would've thrown all his coupons in the air and started running in circles flapping his arms and doing his best imitation of a cuckoo bird. (no offense meant to Cuckoobird. )
