well so far the day is going well. slept in til 11. but my back is thanking me. no mail yet. its cool here. and windy. and rainy. im counting the days now until i can finish shopping. i have two things to work on and finish this week. haven't slept much thinking about all of this.

11am - lucky you! I have been up since 4:30am! DD woke up (but she went right back to sleep) me not so much then had to get up at 5:20am anyways

Baby making isn't always this chaotic, right? I'm back in the friggin' hospital b/c my cervix won't close (not sure why yet...waiting for the dr to go over my ultrasound results with me). This wk was already scheduled full of dr's appointments (mine I've had to cancel this morning and the receptionist is a raging *insert horrible adjective here*). Apparently leaving a msg saying "I'm back in the hospital b/c of excessive blah blah blah & my cervix won't close so I'll need to reschedule" causes her to get the prescription I was supposed to get called in today to NOT get called in - not even a wk's supply until I get another appointment. Note - I've been on this prescription for about 6 yrs & go in every 3 mos to do a 'check up' on it. There's never been a problem getting a few days worth called in to bridge me over. The request was faxed in thursday pending my appt this morning and they still hadn't approved a week's refill.

I guess this family practice/check up pulls rank over excessive bleeding & ER doctors holding me here til it's resolved. Sorry lady! I'm doing the best I can with prioritizing here! (Sorry, I love my dr, but I can't stand her receptionist b/c she is always so rude & acts like patients are inconveniencing her. So Don & I are switching over to a Family Practice at St Mike's (our specialists etc are all here). Alexa had her first appt this afternoon at 3 actually, but surprise! I have to call & reschedule that too! Booo!

Sorry, super frustrated & wanna knock someone's heads together. Not really, but I would love a punching bag and a soundproof room right now!

thinking of you i think i know how you feel, while i didnt have the same situation, i had complications (breach baby, pinched nerve, crutches, bed rest, couldnt lie dow, swelling, c-section, non-latching baby & pumping) in my 3rd trimester and after DD's birth!

Hang in there Pam! I had a phone call with my BMO mortgage centre this morning that left me feeling pretty much the same way. I was so frustrated I was ready to call my branch and have them close all my accounts because the guy was just so rude and argumentative. Thankfully, I took a deep breath and was able to get thru to my own branch, who had the issue resolved in 20 min.

Hopefully the Dr's will get you all fixed up and on your way home soon!

Oh dont get my started on banks, i am currently dealing w/ PC they are trying to cheat me out of $532 and some cents. So frustrated! too frustrated to rant on all the details now.

Kinda reminded me of Joey from Friends with the turkey on his head. I figured I'd keep this photo on file, and whenever I have clients complaining about not sleeping on long flights.. I'll offer them up this little gem.

Apparently it's called the "Ostrich", a private sleeping device you can use anywhere, lol! Notice the holes on the top that are like pockets for your hands if you're sleeping face down...

I was a receptionist for a doctor... I left on medical leave and decided not to return. I'm not saying your receptionist *is not a b###h* but sometimes we have to be the "bad news person" for our boss. (Saying no, when it is not our decision) Just food for thought.... but trust me, I know... like all jobs... some people suck at it.

I like to think I was a "good one". I still have contact with a few patients and get surprise cards in the mail begging me to go back.

They also drop me off random envies filled with coupons.

I do miss most of the patients!

As for poop........................

Hubby and I were watching our niece overnight on Saturday. Abigail was constipated since Thursday night... we did everything we could think of... position changes, the "bicycle", warm bath, tummy rubs.... Nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went to shoppers and bought baby suppositories..... showed them to her and said... you have until midnight to poop. (she is only 1.5 months)

I'm giving her a bottle at 11:30 and she doesn't make a sound... suddenly this wonderful aroma is in the room. And then, I notice... my hand feels wet

Yup.... she poop. The diaper didn't stand a chance!! (I don't think a adult depends would have stood a chance--lol!) Up her back... down her legs and all over Auntie Leslie! (EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!)

We had a midnight bath. And then we slept until 7:30am

DD had a diaper like that when she was about a year old, EXCEPT we were at this small burger pub that DIDNT have a change table in its bathroom so I had to take her 4 stores down the street to starbucks to change her! Luckily my MIL came w/ (leaving hubby at the pub) to help - this was not a 1 person diaper change. We were laughing so hard the people in the cafe must have wondered what was going on in there LOL

I saw a pin on pintrest for making pumpkin play doh. You colour it orange, add some pumpkin pie spices and then wrap it up with a tag saying what it is. Im not about to make over 100 of those though....maybe for DS1's class though
It is to die for, we made this last week and OMG it smells AMAZING!!! almost good enough to eat, well the recipe we had was ingredients that you could eat but wouldn't suggest doing it

Ahhh! Seeing pics makes me SO excited for Dec. 1st!! I could be done cuz I definitely have more than 25 items, but I think some I might package together.....cuz there's still one certain item I haven't found yet that I need to get and I still want a couple more Christmas items perhaps. LOL it's hard to stop shopping!! My hubby still rolls his eyes and finds it weird that I'm so excited to shop for a stranger...but he just doesn't understand how the "SC family" thing feels

Got two more buddy gifts today! One I forgot I'd ordered lol.

And... got the job I interviewed for last Friday! So excited! And terrified lol. I'm sure it'll be good but I'm nervous, and feel slighty bad leaving my current manager, he's losing a few employees and I've only been there less than 6 weeks. But he can't offer me the same level position so I have to do what I have to do!

Oh, and no thanks to the makeup bag, I have lots from when I sold avon, more than I'll ever use lol
