I heard about the tragedy in Connecticut at work today I couldn't work I had such a bad headache. I couldn't hold my tears and still cry now My prayers go out to the families who lost their child/family member. I have my dd in school and can't even think what would I do if anything like this happens at her school one day

Today is one of those days that my DH phones to see how I am making out and he started to panic because he couldn't understand me through the tears. Yes I am in some aweful pain, feeling sorry for myself about being on crutch's, but nothing is worse then the crushing feeling that is in my chest thinking of those family's that have lost children to someone so deranged that they would walk into a school and murder 20 young beautiful children. I sit here crying like a baby, waiting for my children to get home so I hug them.

i actually came up with a great idea.. seeing as all of our stockings are somewhere 'down in the dungeon' i decided to take a couple of old pairs of black dress pants that the boys have outgrown and make new stocks. complete with their names and a little trim. we'll see how they turn out..plus instead of paying $3.50 for one square of black fabric patching. for their school uniform pants. im going to make patches from the old pants. a little fusing and voila.!

oh if there IS frosting tomorrow. i've heard if you stick it in a mixer.. like a kitchen aid style. it will actually double its size. not sure if its true. worth trying.

today brought a handprint kit to use for the baby...........devin's nose was kind of out of joint about it but i told him we might be able to do his print and the baby's all on the same one and he was ok with that!!!
