I got a card from Jez yesterday and it kinda brought my out of my "poor me" world. Thanks so much for thinking of me. It reminded me that there are good people out there in the world

Ok, finally getting to post my photo's from yesterday...

Here's the 4 pairs of super warm socks for my BF, my 2 bags of black licorice (WAS 2...) and my little zebra print pill container for my purse!

And, my weekend's accomplishments at pressure canning, 8 - 1/2pints of bacon jam, plus 4 pints each of chickpeas & black beans... I would definitely send along a jar of Bacon Jam if my mini buddy is interested??

Ok. I am done pouting and being cranky (for now anyways). Thanks to Jez for the Christmas card. Happy mail is always a good thing.

Day 17 was Tetley Tea! Yummy!


DAy 18 was a razor and other lady sample. I love these!


Day 19 was a brownie mix, cake mix and icing. CAnt wait to make the brownies


And this morning I opened Peanut Butter cups and mentos. Love them. Deciding whether I share or not....

OMG! I forgot Sunday! On The 16th day my AMAZING buddy gave me a bag of mini Rolos


I decided to make these into Rolo Cookies!
Ingredients

• 1 box Devil's Food cake mix
• 2 eggs
• 1/3 cup oil
• Rolo candies, unwrapped

Instructions

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a cookie sheet with parchment.
• Mix together the first three ingredients. Grab a small piece of dough (about half the size of a golf ball) and roll it into a ball. Smoosh it flat, place a Rolo in the center, and then close the dough around the Rolo. Repeat until all of the dough is used.
• Bake for about 9 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Delicious served warm or at room temperature.

yay! glad you like it and I hope it works. I ordered it online from amazon so hopefully it works better than some of the cheaper ones I've been seeing. let me know as I might want to buy one too! =) I was looking at SDM and they have a coin counter one that puts it into rolls which I thought I might get too.. hm.

lizard queen - didn't see your post before but I was thinking about blogging about my 2013 goals too. although I've changed it a bit...now I"m doing, "52 things I always say I want to do but never make the time" - this will include craft projects and the like but it will also be seeing certain people, trying new restaurants that I've been meaning to try, finally reading that book I've always wanted to read, etc. let me know if you do your craft projects though. I've done so many crafts but I think I need to finish all my unfinished projects too. there just never seems to be a limit to the ideas out there. pinterest has given me a long list.

So in a bit of a laps I forgot to post on Day 19 My buddy sent me an anti stink kit for DS lol 2 bars of soap a deodorant and a bottle of axe shampoo my DS favorite I think he might have a GF he showered twice yesterday

on Day 20 some great coupons including a FPC for Laura secord ice cream yummy I have never had it but there is a shop right by the Cancer centre and some unstoppable I am addicted to this stuff.
