Christmas CD: not really.....I'm like NikkiB....Christmas carol Grinch!
Book? I requested a specific book on my wishlist (Unsaid by Neil Abramson) but I also read anything and everything (except Harlequins) I usually stick to crime, murder mystery types - Patricial Cromwell, Kathy Reichs, Jonathan Kellerman etc....I tend not to buy books, so anything new-ish is great!
Showers or Baths? Usually showers, but we do have a fancy jaccuzzi tub too, love it, but don't use it often as I am 5'11'' and it isn't exactly built for tall folks
Farm animals? I have no kids, and the fur kids tolerate each other! I do however LOVE donkeys!
Used DVDs? Yep, burnt are great too! Also used books, CDs are great! I am totally ok with recycling these types of items!
Favourite type of movie? pretty much all (horror included) not super into chick flicks (I may be one of the few who has zero desire to see Magic Mike!) Comedies over Drama though -my ADD gets the best of me sometimes and have to be super into a movie to sit still for it
Favourite Movie? I love Vince Vaughn and Will Ferrell, so any of their movies are good....I also like documentary types (There is something wrong with Aunt Diane, Blood on the Flat Track, Never Say Never <--gah did I just admit that?!?
)
I am just starting to watch Dexter if my buddy happens to have any of the seasons after season 1 and wants to burn me a copy that would be ok! I would also like to see the new Katy Perry movie (I don't think it is out yet though)

For me, it's kind of like it's a celebration of us. Regardless of the reason we coupon, we all do it and save our families money I'm sure we do A LOT of running around for our friends and family to make things as perfect as possible - especially at the holidays. As much as I love watching everyone open all of the gifts (even little ones) that I've spent months looking for and collecting, I sometimes find myself watching them with a little envy! (not proud of this). Last year my younger brother looked up at me with shock that I'd gone to such lengths tracking something down for him and then said he felt like a jerk for just giving me a gift card (i.e. no effort). I didn't know what to say! Cause as much as I really just wanted him to enjoy his gift, I was kinda annoyed that he'd put zero thought into my gift.
Having a group of SC friends that are doing so much for each other makes me so happy! 25 days of Christmas? Of something I'd actually like to receive? I can't even begin to imagine. So excited & warm & fuzzy
. End of my ramble!
Patricia Cornwell is a fave of mine as well! Love her characters. I'm just on season 2 of Dexter myself, but have been watching them on Netflix (not really helpful for you! Sorry!) I've heard so many great things about it and everyone said I'd love it...not sure about "love", but for the $8/month I spend, I'm good with it. I think I saw Katy Perry's movie on my pay per view as an option so maybe it's out already?

Nope... have power... but snow and hail. We are used to it. It usually snows before halloween here. I shouldn't complain.. this is Northern Ontario after all

I think it is sooo cool that you know where I live and when I talk about how small or how close the USA is to us-- you well 100% understand. I don't ski..or snowmachine... not my cup of tea.
MAYBE we could meet and do a "coupon walk" together. You would be the FIRST SC member(besides my sister) that I have met "in person".
I only have 4 days done... nothing is wrapped and I don't have my box yet.
I am okay with gently used things.. but we don't collect DVD's.
Someone needs to die or stuff has to blow up.. those are my type of movies. I LOVE Resevoir Dogs and the Usual Suspects. I have a big love of anything Quinton Tarantino touches

Has anyone met another Sc'er on here to do a recycle walk or hang out, etc...? I'm way too shy and would love to do this with someone! Or if anyone needs a play date for their DS/DD, I have a lil girl (10 mths old) whose very active and I'd want her to have a friend and play while us mommies do our couponing or have tea, etc. before I head back to work in a month, and before the snow starts to fall...
Just putting this out there
Lmk/PM me if you wanna!

Aww I'm really shy too but I'd love to have couponing friends "in person" since none of my friends/family are into it! I was just in Ontario taking my son to meet all my husband's family in Owen Sound...I found someone on SC from there, she gave me her phone number to meet up for coffee, but we were only there for a short time and pretty much every day was pre-planned with family we had to go see.
(P.S. Pumpkin: my sister in law lives where you live I think....I wonder if you know her....) Does anyone watch "Highway Thru Hell" on Discovery Channel?? cuz that's exactly where I live in BC
haha
Movies: we like to watch comedies and horror films......can't really think of what my favorite movie is though...

buddy - what types of movies do you like to watch? and what is your favourite movie?
Horror, comedy, some drama. Hard to pick a fav movie...
Would love The Hunger Games (want to re-watch because when I saw it in theaters I thought it was so/so), Sex and the City 2 (still haven't seen it!!), The Raven (love John Cusack but haven't seen this one yet), any horror from the last year or so. Burned is okay.

And no used DVDs or tv for me as my brother helps me download most things. As for a book, I have my own little children's library. Ive been collecting my childhood favourites and have been looking for "miss Nelson is missing" and it's two sequels for a long time (used). If you can find it, I would love it!!!
