I LOVE clean eating because it's not a diet..no counting calories or restricting what time of day to eat..just eat clean, healthy food as much as you want..I'm a bit of a child if someone tells me I can only have XX calories for the day..LOL I also don't stress about birthday's and holidays, I eat clean 90% of the time and allow myself treats when I need them, it's the only way I can stick with it. I was clean eating for over a year and feeling awesome, was at my goal weight and looked great then just stopped one day, I'm really not sure why
A year after my son finished his treatments it finally hit me and I had a bit of a rough year but I'm getting back on track now!
Pumpkin have you checked out the Tosca Reno cook books...they are AMAZING!! clean baked goods and tons of meal ideas.

Pumpkin you have such a great attitude! I wish I could be the same.. I know I'm not overweight by most people's standards, but I'm very short at 5'2, and a very small frame. (I wear kids gloves/mitts, have purchased kid's sandals before, and before laser eye surgery, always had kid's glasses, as the adult frames were huge!) So an extra 25-30lbs on me looks like a lot more. (I curse being short!!!) Before I was divorced I was at my all time heaviest, during the divorce, (it took 2yrs!) I lost 70lbs and went from a size 14 to a 2. I'm now in a very tight 8/9... and if I went to buy new pants, would likely need a 10 to be comfy.
I guess my biggest thing is I just don't feel comfortable in my own skin at my current weight. And I'm very upset I let myself gain this back after all the hard work it took to lose it. I can definitely notice not going to the gym has wrecked my cardio, I used to run up stairs and not even breathe heavy, now I walk up from the basement and can feel the increased breathing and heart rate. When I was at the Dr's in April, my blood pressure was right under the "normal/high" category, which I normally run low. I never used to "diet" either, it was a no junk-food, fruits/veggies/whole grains and lean meat kinda deal. Occasionally have a treat. Now with the BF, it's pizza's, candy, and just a lot of processed junk every week. He is in super shape, not an ounce of fat anywhere, yet loves me just like I am. (I tell him he must like big butts..) So I don't know why it bugs me so. Ugh. I'd be happy just to lose 10lbs and drop a couple of sizes..
So.. another wishlist item for my buddy? Motivation.. I could use a truckload of that right about now!

Did anyone watch Arrow last night on CTV?
I had never heard of it before I watched it (but it happened to be the first episode), looks pretty good. It looks right up my alley of shows much to my hubby dismay lol All the show that I watch seem to get cancel (boo) and I need something to replace Terra Nova. I am still mad that they cancelled Jericho that was the best show ever. I love shows that make you think. I was a huge fan of Lost but was disappointed with the ending

Walmart, Metro, Rexall, Dollarama
I have googled them and will show hubby when he gets home. We have been searching for a "easy to use" cookbook about clean eating... THANKS for point in the right direction!
Thanks NickiB! I try to have a healthy attitude regarding myself
(This didn't happen overnight-- I had to work at it & still have to work at it)
Hubby and I love to watch RuPauls Drag Race(our reality tv show) She ends ever show by saying “Honey, if you can’t love yourself, how the hell you gonna love someone else?…..Can I get an amen?” I loved it! I use it! I believe it!
