Hmm, all the ones I would guess are wrong. Maybe you`re counting how many times someone posts a picture.

The first few episodes of Revolution did disappoint me a bit and I was thinking of dropping it but last nights was a lot better. I`ll continue watching to see how it goes.

My daughter (15) was kind of hinting lately that she wanted her belly button pierced. I'm not a prude by any means but am against it for several reasons - it's hard to keep clean, she's prone to bleeding and infections, she's a dancer which means that she'd have to remove it before each dance comp, convention e.t.c. And I still have nightmares about her cartilage piercing, she was bleeding so heavily at the aesthetician's chair that I contemplated taking her to a hospital.. So, I've been fighting tooth and nail against it, even though "all of her friends are doing it and their moms are obviously ok with that"

Long story short, my DH just went down east to visit his family for a week and two days into his trip he post on FB a picture of his first tattoo!!! What He never talked about it before, never mentioned that he wanted one and that's how I found out! Well, let me tell you that as soon as my DD saw the picture she stepped her battle and now her argument is "well, if Dad could get a tattoo I don't see why I can't get a belly button piercing". So far I've been staying strong but my defenses are crumbling...

To the moms of teenagers, do any of you have any experience with belly button piercings? Am I over thinking it?
And to the moms of toddlers and babies - enjoys your babies because very soon they'll be all grown up before you know it!
I haven't had the belly button question yet BUT the answer is no, more for hygene reasons. My youngest is a free spirit and wanted an industrial piercing SOOOOOO bad. We finally relented and researched the best place to take her and when she got to her appt. the lady would not do it because dd's ear was not the right shape, she was soooooooooo crushed. She was very mature about it though and it didn't just get something else pierced just to get something done. She then researched alternatives and asked if she could get this:

It goes in a regular earring home in the lobe and cuffs onto the ear. She rocks it, along with her VERY red hair:

I too am part of the Big Boob club, I wanted a reduction and was told I had to lose 90 pounds about 10 years ago, I did it and when I wen t back to the surgeon he said I lost too much weight and didn't warrant a reduction. he said I just needed a tuck and lift cause they were just saggy. I was totally depressed for so long over that. I also gained back all the weight and more

I know some people hate to discuss weight.. but to me, its just a number... its doesn't(or maybe I don't allow it to) define who I am. I believe that no matter what number is on the scale is doesn't stop me from being a friend, sister, daughter, auntie, wife, lover, couponer, etc

I would love to be sitting happily at 185ish. I will get there... I learned a looooooong time ago... slow and steady wins everytime.

Hubby and I have started the "clean eating"... not so much a diet.. but a different way to eat. We are trying to stick to lots of veggies, lean meat... some fruit.... and little carbs. BUT Sunday is our "whatever the heck we want to eat... we eat it day" And of course, we don't stress about Birthdays, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Etc.
Wow, I knew we were kindred spirits before but WOW, how cose our lives run is scary. I am up in the 300's right now and trying to work my way back down AGAIN.... as I said above I went through the reduction scenario and it didn't turn out so well. My fibromyalgia and Myofacial pain is also a big issue for me so it is a losing battle sometimes.

Now we can tell our families that nothing's happening until Saturday and hope that they forget I could still go into labour naturally! Lol. First grand baby for 3 sets of parents (DH's are divorced) so the phones won't stop frigging ringing/vibrating at all hours of the day! They all mean well, but the phones have all been put on silent so I don't get too snarky with them! Lol
I was induced both times, OUCH (sorry) I hope you go into labour naturally soon!

But with me being so sick constantly I am in bed most of the time! So I know I don't move nearly enough. I have been told I look a bit swollen and I have yellowing around my eyes.. hmmm, since we are on the topic of BOOBS - a new bra - the ones I wear are industrial models and cost @$120, so I find it hard to spend that on myself.

    I'm a Sagitarrius - I will be the big 40 on Dec. 17th

Ok, caught up on the last few pages since work just kept getting in the way this afternoon!

I have no guess what' Jez's been counting, every idea I had was posted by the time I finished reading the posts! But wait, is it how many times we've tried to eliminate someone as our buddy?

Apron - yes, but I have this on my wishlist, so my buddy already knows!

Samples - I love the dawn dish soap, and Unstoppables.

Bulk Barn - Absolutely! I was actually wondering about this myself, so thanks for asking Trish!

I've PM'd you Pammie about the Facebook group! Thanks so much for doing this. I was so inspired yesterday after work after reading everyone's weight loss posts, that I made a nice rice casserole for dinner. Brown Rice, sundried tomato tuna, and Europe's Best Roast Veggies. (Less than $2 for dinner, btw) But then of course, as per usual, I had to ruin it by eating Smartfood at 9pm!!! Arghhhh... Can't wait for the group to be up and running!

My Mom has Fibro!! She has been trying to lose weight and with her fibro, still healing from breast cancer & radiation, plus now she has a tumor on her wrist and a swollen stomach with 2 circles almost like bruises she is lucky if she can get out of the house!

I think that would be great! I think I am going to join the FB page!!

Has it changed??? On the first post it says this....

You are going to mail a box to your Christmas buddy with 25 packages. 5 can be an envelope with 1 fpc/call-in/rare ect and the other 20 are going to be a wrapped present. By all means if you buy something that is part of a set- you can split it up over 2 or 3 days(MAX) if you would like to.
