Sorry for being MIA the last couple days - worked the weekend and spent yesterday catching up around the house and going to the Guide Camp to check out the damage the vandals did, went to insurance and told them about it. Had a GG meeting last night to prepare for and then last night was counting cookie money!!

But today a gal from work and I took off to a bigger town 40 minutes away for a change of shopping scenery and buddy - boy did you make out good!! I would have to say I am pretty close to done now, but I am sure I will be picking up stuff right til mail day lol. But I feel much better knowing I found some KEY items today that I was worried about.

I will go back through the pages I missed now and answer some Q's.

So I hope no one mind if I highjack the thread for a second to brag about my running crew a little. These are my girls ever weekday morning they meet me rain or shine they meet me at 0630 to run. When I said that I wanted to run one more Half Marathon before The season ended and we could not find one these wonderful crazy fools encouraged me to just make one. So yesterday in our first snow fall of the year (sideways snow it was awful lol) they joined me to run 21.1 KM a few local people set out little tables with water along the way. We were soaked at the end but loved every minute.

The wonderful lady in the black lulu hat is my friend Kim, When i was at my absolute sickest it was here that encouraged me to start training again. Her and I will be doing our first full Marathon in May in Calgary
The lady in the Pink is Christina in she has lost 30pd in the last 4 mnths and cut 15 mins off her Personal best in this run.
The girl in the purple lulu is Dayna When this girl was posted in to our unit last year she was 60 pds heaver, she could not run 500m and this was her first Half.
And me in the pink hat.

Buddy, I have finished your homemade item. Not much drama to report.. I did glue my hand to my couch but hubby quickly grabbed a soapy washcloth...

I hope you love it. Well, even if you don't love it... I hope you can appreciate that I tried. This is my first craft on a package train. (Lucky you!--bahahahhahahaha)

OH, almost forgot! Buddy, I was able to find one of you items that you gave me a big *HINT-HINT* on.

Now for a more personal question... Buddy, I know your shirt size... do you take the same size in pajama pants?

I don't know if I will be as adventurous as you Pumpkin.... I am guessing I am not your buddy - I didn't reveal any clothing sizes and I am the same as you - I like to pick out my own stuff. Also plus sizes vary so much from store to store I would have to make a word document on different sizes lol. But if ones buddy was feeling really dangerous - they could check out Penningtons panty section and see if they have any of the cute cotton Xmas ones out yet - I am a granny panty kind of gal. 3X would be the size for me. They closed our local Penningtons, I didn't shop there alot but liked going around Xmas and getting cute pantaloons and sparkly socks and knee highs.

I answered your post a bit, I am 1.5 hours from HRM, but go down every so often and ALWAYS do mega redemption at the Clayton Park store. I called around one time asking all the HRM SDM's which was the best and biggest and that seemed to be the one. Sobeys are usually good for coupons, Superstore has a limit and then you have to get an over ride for every coupon beyond that, Wal Mart is usually good, depends on the cashier...

the thing I hate most about using coupons is when the cashiers can't stand seeing you get a good deal and try to make up some excuse that you can't use them, or when they make you feel like you are a criminal for using coupons to get a good deal.

OK, stepping off soap box now. I had a run in at SDM yesterday with a cashier who was refusing to give me my $10 gift card because my total after coupons was not $50+ even though the screen prompted her to issue the promo!!

I'm going to go look at all the cool things I got for my buddy today.

The joico question was asked because we won some very nice gift sets at a silent auction from the Gala dinner we attended on the weekend. Like I said I like it but wasn't sure if my buddy did.We also won a huge basket of kids items LOL and mine are grown up. So we are splitting the basket up and giving items away to friends who have children (little ones).

I just did a mega skylanders giants shopping spree yesterday. I didn't even know hot dog was out yet...was he released yesterday too?? I was under the understanding he was coming out later in November...if he is out there I would also like to list that as my second most wished for item or have him added to my son's wishlist

Not shampoo but any styling products for straightening/frizzy hair would be great. Thinking about buying one of those products that are supposed to keep your hair straight for 10 days or so. Has anyone tried them? Do they actually work?

heh Gwennad.. when you refer to a butter dish what exactly is that. cuz the ones i've seen are so tiny. remember the 'stick' of butter size from the 50's. . not the huge 'BLOCK' of butter you buy now.. they dont' make dishes for them. someone needs to rethink this invention.

my MIL (the non-extreme one, I have two) cuts the huge block of butter up to to 4 finger slices!

no - unless its dress-up clothes or accessories for DD (fairy or butterfly wings would be fantastic, her current pair is looking a bit worse for wear or halloween candy!

Soooo this was our excessively decorated Halloween House last week (my husband is an overgrown 12 year old. This was his idea of "a couple little halloween things from kiiji".....)

Buddy was there a gift you had always wanted growing up that you never got? an easy bake oven lol my cousins all had one but not me so when my son asked for one when he was 7 i was thrilled to get it for him lol
Also what was the favorite gift you ever got and do you still have it? i had a pink fuzzy blanket from my grandma but unfortunately it met its fate years ago
