mini train buddy -would you be ok with a 99% homemade package?

Grandpa has got into helping me with the mini train It's truly amazing the things he can remember at times - Most days he can't remember my name -today he has remembered a skill he had 50 years ago and can still do, so he is putting it to work making something for the mini train

I think I would be happy with pretty much anything! (including bedazzled undies! )

oops to answer questions...... I would love a completely homemade package.... I love the care and thought that goes into something that is made with ones own hands Question to my buddy: is there anything that would just make you cringe and throw out if you found it in your package

Air Fresheners; I am insanely allergic to perfumed and scented products - even fresh cut flowers
And...knick knacks. I am absolutely NOT a fan of dust-collecting useless items.

Ok, no one has posted in like half an hour! I'm at work not wanting to work, so come on There is a Timmies in the building I work at so I got my coffee as usual (and a bagel with cream cheese and bacon - not usual Timmies fare, it's a combo cafeteria/Tim Hortons) and was super happy, they have the Timbit ornaments out! I grabbed one quick. Jackson loves the chocolate ones and that's what it is. He made me go to Tim Horton's on the way home from work last week, he had been asking for donuts for days... so I went and asked for 10 chocoalte timbits, sorry we only have two. Ok, how about a chocolate glazed donut? Nope. Ok, two timbits then. Thanks. 42 cents at the drive thru. Yup, the things we do for our kids I didn't even get myself a coffee!

Mea isn't even gone yet and I'm looking at kittens on Kijiji. How terrible of me! I don't think I'll get one, pretty sure I won't. Probably. I don't need another cat. Really. The kittens are sure cute though. Why are baby animals so adorable? And Jackson deserves a pet that doesn't run in terror from him... But no, I'm going to wait until we (hopefully) move in May. No kitten. I think.

This advent train is so great, I love opening a gift for me everyday, it's so exciting to see what everyone is getting. And I agree with the sentiment that people on here are so nice, and friendly. I wish I had friends like you all in real life! In person? Whatever You're all great!

I just said that to my husband the other day...I said I have more friends that I have never actually met than friends in real life! Is that sad?

You are so sweet, Gwen and Itotally wish I had a Timmy's in my building.

I am getting a new window today. My h made a very costly mistake awhile back when he put a heater near our picture window. Anyway, the guys are here installing the new window. It's floor to ceiling. They keep going in and out of the door and slamming it instead of just walking through the big empty space where the window used to be. It's driving me crazy!!!

So I decided to take a mental health day get my head back in the game and carry on from here, I love you guys you make me laugh and cry (in a good way) everyday

so I am going to work on one of my mini train project I will tell you lol DH thinks I have jumped of the deep end on this one. Either it will be amazing or umm well buddy I warned yah

Last to Me gifts
Day 4 - Winter Frost in a can - we'e had plenty of authentic frost/snow/disgustingness since mid October but i do live in Calgary so a green christams is certainly not out of the question hahaha. I'll save it for then just in case....or maybe a fun Christmas in July day So fun!
Day 5 - Baboo FPC - I'm gong ot start Owen on this stuff first thing in the new year so much appreciated.

Day 1-A cool Nintendo DS game -Puzzles for the mind type thing. I think I will be trying this out myself.


Day 2-A big bag of Reese minis and some mentos gum -Of course it's been devoured!

Day 4-A cute bag of Candy Cane flavoured Kisses. I've never tried these before but she says they are yummy!

I didn't want to tell you who sent it, I have just been a bit nervous b/c teenage boys are not the easiest to shop for and I just had his basic profile and no real wishlist or anything!

My son Nick is 15 and still loves PEZ dispensers! (Okay, I'll be honest...there really isn't ANY junk food or candy he doesn't like!) Teens!

K, My package and my daughter's Package was sent by Coupmama. Another big thank you to her as we are loving the fun of this advent train! She is the most excited of all though. She wakes up really early to go find her present and she gets mine and her brother's as well and that's how she wakes us up, lol.

Day1-An AWESOME box of mixed K-cups which I LOVE!!! I haven't tried any of the ones she sent either so that is a bonus! LOVE LOVE LOVE this gift!


Day 2- Three Downey Unstoppables samples! I really love this stuff so to get 3 was pretty cool! Smells so good!


Day 3-A cute pack of Glitter Pens! My daughter already tried to take them to school with her, but I got them back!


Day 4-Yay! One of my FAVOURITE chocolates. A really cute box of Lindt Lindor chocolates. Almost too cute to open and eat....but of course I will!!!


Day 5-Wow, I'm loving this train! Today I got Physicians Formula Concealer! I know this stuff isn't cheap. I REALLY appreciate these items, you have no idea! I really need it too, lol



Now that I've finally caught up on the first 5 days, I'm making a promise to post daily from now on, lol.

To find Paint (it's a program that comes with all versions of Windows free) you click on the little icon on the bottom left corner of your screen, choose All Programs (assuming you have Windows 7) and then Accessories. Paint will be listed there. I have a lot of programs but to give you an idea
