Down .8. Damn that decision to have a Costco hot dog yesterday!!!
My Mom has a scale that weighs her in oz and she weighs everyday, and writes it on her calendar. Anyway, some days she's like "I gained 0.4 lb and I can't figure it out" My answer? "well that's the difference of a good poop" - yes I'm a classy broad... :lolsign:
Down 0lbs. today. I was down 2 but had a carb (beer and chips) weekend. I needed it- it was my first night out with the girls in a loooooooong time. So next week should be a big loss.
LOL
"Don't eat carrots" was said tongue in cheek in response to kw01ai :
The farm carrots down the road are delish. I’m avoiding carrots only when I restrict calories for a few weeks at a time. Otherwise uncooked farm carrots are a staple for all of us – dog included! We love them. Carrots provide all vitamin A needed for one day. They help keep skin smooth and fight off infections. They have lots of potassium to slow bone density loss & good for blood pressure. Carrots are super veg.
During my low calorie weeks, I’m choosing veg that I can eat in larger volume to satisfy my emotional need for a full plate! Carrots have more calories (from sugars) than many other veg.
for example... one serving of carrots (or corn!)
= 5 servings of cucumber, green onions or leaf lettuce
= 2 ½ servings of asparagus, broccoli, cauliflower, celery, green snap beans, iceberg lettuce, radishes or summer squash
/takes deep breath...
REMINDING EVERYONE I'm following a fairly controversial (but WORKS FOR ME!) diet.
I'm down -10.8 Lbs
:yikes:
Phew, good to know about those carrots, i love them and eat them everyday.
I do have to briefly cook them because in their completely raw form i can't digest them and they hurt my tummy. The naturopath said to cook slightly to help reduce the alkalinity of many veggies for me. It works, I can eat my favorites (which are few) all day long.
No fat, no sugar, no wheat
low calorie
+ a hormone HCG
google 'HCG' - I hate talking it about it, because it sounds like I'm selling it! LOL
-1lb :(
My motto for today...bc I don't want to do a 4k but I WILL PUSH MYSELF TOO!
lost 0
interesting... if it works for you, and is safe then go for it. I don't think i could eliminate all sugar, but I do try and limit wheat/bad carbs.
Just out of curiosity, you don't have to say...how much do you weight/height? I am just wondering as a 400lb person (not saying you are that) losing 10lb in a week wouldn't be bad if they drastically changed their eating/exercise, but a 100lb person (not saying you are that either) it might be more "controversial"...
