I bought $150 in SDM gift cards today and only got 1500 points on my receipt. Do they show up later or does the bonus 8000 not apply to SDM cards? Man, these deals never work out for me without a hastle!

Can you tell me how you did that calculation? I seem to be math-challenged when it comes to these things

You can check this site to learn about the laws re GCs in your province. Scroll down until you find your province. At the bottom of some of the sections there's a link for more info in your province:

And here's a law site with info for businesses:

Anyone seen Starbucks in denominations less than $60? That's a big assumption they're making
Apply every possible promo code to your cart, at every store that you visit (and get points for cash back on top of that?). It's sweet and easy with HONEY.

Hmmm, I wonder if you could buy Petro cards and then buy Sears gift cards at Petro Canada with the gift cards? Appliances and furniture anyone?

I went to a different Shoppers today - and they were adamant that I could not buy Shoppers gift cards as part of the $150 total. They even brought the manager in who agreed with the cashier. Is there an official ruling on this?
