So I was a little bummed that an oil painting i bid on at Salvation army went to a higher bidder a couple of days ago. i couldn't justify the cost of outbidding them *bah*
i had a good feeling today tho, and i went in to take a look, and just as i was done with the kitchen area, i said to my daughter "lets look at the weird pictures" cause the wall of odd prints and posters is always mostly stuff no one would ever want. i look to one side and ghasp!!!
i saw a couple of elusive ruscha wall hanging tiles, BIG ones! i immediatly got down to snatch them up off the bottom shelf. i knocked down a cheap print while i was at it, i didn't care what price they were, i HAD to have them, and boy were they heavy!
it turned out they were 5.99 each. i was laughing. i wanted something like them so bad for sooo long, and i find them tossed on the bottom shelf along with other junk. these normally sell for about $200-300 each, and i got both for under 12 dollars.
i was laughing while lined up to pay for them because it is the beginning of the month and they had just put out a ton of new auction items. of course these were worth more than any of the things they had put in the auction. they just didn't know.
so happy!
this is a camera pic. they are old, from the 60's. some of you may say "wth, that's old CRAP" but i love it

i told hubby about how much ppl pay for them, and showed him prices online. he's all like "you should sell them!"
i was like heck no, i can't even afford to buy these types of things for 600 bucks, i can sure as heck afford 12 tho ;pIn 2020 I had 100 FREE Grocery pickups! Subscribe to PC Optimum Insiders & get 25,000 PC Optimum pts

I love when that happens. Finding hidden treasure is awesome!

How interesting! Nice find since it's something you like. I didn't know what they were, so I did some googling!
