Teeny tiny brag

I went to Loblaws to kill some time and found a case of 24 cans of Fancy Feast with those lovely little 50% off stickers on them. Checked the price and it came to about .39 a can. I don't feed my cat processed food (unlike what I eat myself, ha!) and will be dropping them off to feed the feral cats at Bluffers Park. It came to around $10 for all 24 cans.

I read about the Swiffer starter kit so I also picked up some of the coupons at Loblaws. Went to Canadian Tire and bought 2 after being told the ones I bought weren't the ones in the picture. I explained that it said "any" kit and the manager agreed. He then said I could only buy one because it said one per purchase but I said it doesn't say one per customer or one per transaction. He said he'd have to ring it in twice, fine by me but it took longer for them because they did two transactions. So I ended up only paying tax.

Tomorrow is another day!

haha! Now I see that our local Canadian Tire is not the only one to give hassles with cpns. They rang in 8 seperate transactions to give me my Magic Erasers on Thursday, and shorted me on being able to get my free Febreeze item 5 times!! This was after a long drawn out heated argument on my ablility to be able to even use the darn cpns that were expiring that day.

Good findo the cat food.
