Twenty one minutes left and they have sold over 9200 cards. Your City Deals stands to make almost a million dollars but will contribute close to half a million dollars to purchase all those gift cards. Can this be real?

Why would Petro care? The site and Petro both say it is in no way affiliated with them - there is very little they can do to stop a site selling them

If I was Petro Can I would be concerned with somebody using my brand name to commit a scam(assuming this is a scam). I highly doubt that Petro Canada will give a quantity discount on a cash product. Just doesnt make sense or dollars hehehe.

Employers often buy GCs in bulk for employees and can get a discount, it is not significant - not sure if Petro participate in that though

Petro Canada does I use to work for them placing orders for gift cards. Some times Petro Canada will sell gift cards to companies for a good rate but depending on the gift card number...Petro Canada might not be paid until the owner uses the gift card and if they get these type of cards they can have a expiry date because the expiry date law only is from personal not for business to business. I was a supervisor for it so I knew the laws. So be careful with them so still be a scam depending on the gift card number.

$49 for $100 is too good of a deal for gas especially from an unknown website. I didn't buy into this when it was first posted.
