No Frills price matching

I didn't feel like going from store to store to get the good sales that I wanted so I decided to try price matching everything at No Frills.

Taco kits $2.99 (pm Food Basic) - $1 = $1.99 per kit, and free salsa coupons (these coupons are only valid when you buy a taco kit, didn't know that)
I Can't Believe margarine $0.99 (pm Food Basic)

I bought two boxes of ice cream bars at $3.99 each, the cashier only took $3.99 for the $5 coupon saying that's how the coupon works. I thought she'd take the full $5 off so I'm not to thrilled with those coupons. It is still free ice cream but if I buy two at $2.49 I guess she'd only take off $2.49?? I don't know, I thought the full amount would be deducted, I did have more than $5 in ice cream.

I bought other items, spent almost $40 using $20+ in coupons. The cashier was so nice, she closed the line after me because she said price matching takes awhile (and it did!). Another cashier came over to help her because of the coupons I used she needed to enter her code. Too bad they have a max amount for coupons and everytime someone needs to come over to enter their code to continue. As the cashier is ringing in the items the other cashier is writing everything down in their log. I said this is my first time price matching and I'm glad they allow it. The cashier told me that they won't be doing it for much longer because with food prices rising they are losing money.

Also went to RCSS to buy five products for the Tropicana MIR. This one is too good to pass up, an easy money maker. Can't wait to get my gift cards!!

edited: nm, what I just said lol... let me rephrase - do those ice cream coupons act like FPC's or reg. coupons? cause if they are just regular $5 off icecream coups then yes, she should have taken off the full amount..

i price matched some butter there today and it took almost 10 minutes, its ridiculous.
