    this made me what a great story to share

    i don't understand why some cashiers or managers would be so stingy...it's not like they're losing money, they get it back. I would like to know their reasoning.

    Contrast that with the manager at Tim Horton's Shelbourne & Cedar Hill, Victoria.

    I'm organizing a fund raiser for Movember.

    I've been visiting this location 2-3 times/day for 3 years spending at least $10/day (Hey, it's a business expense).

    I approached the shift manager, with official documentation from the Victoria Prostate Centre about a prize donation for the event. As she put it, "There's no way this will be turned down. We wouldn't want to lose our best customer!"

    Well the owner-operator turned it down. For the want of a $10 GC they lost their best customer.

    With my extra time now I'll visit Toys R' Us. Do they sell coffee?
