they do christmas angels here its for children you get to pick the ages and you get just whatever you can for the child and wrap it and that is what they get to open christmas day...we do it as a class and either bring money for stuff or ppl go and buy small toys, etc depending on the age of the child

i know that homeless shelters need things but i used to volunteer at one and you have to check what you give them because they won't use everything you give them because of certain complications. I would phone the shelter first and ask, or donate to something like winnipeg harvest or christmas hampers for unfortunate families!
