Has anyone been to Mother's yet? The 2hr waiting times are putting me off going

I would like to try the pizzeria in July, just to be able to say I'd have been there. Also, the HSR runs in that area, so bonus!

Wish Baranga's on the Beach was more accessible. The 56 Centennial Bus schedule is very daytime-oriented.

We went on the weekend and they said the wait was 20 minutes, but I don't think we actually did wait that long. The pizza was incredible! The entire time we were there, people were streaming in. But half of those coming turned around and left. You should go - the wait is not as bad as you'd think! Also, according to their facebook page, they are now offering take out, so that should ease the wait for a table.

Oh 20mins is fine, I have seen reports of people saying 180mins!

I see a picture of Pop Shoppe pop. There used to be a store on Queenston just for that very soda.
Last time I had this soda, I was in Burlington a few years ago and saw the soda in a coffee shop on Lakeshore Rd, across from Spencer Smith Park.

They sell it at Denningers too, but it's expensive, it's like gourmet pop these days!

Hubby and I stopped in last weekend around the 4 pm mark. The place was jammed packed and we were told the wait was upwards of 2.5 hours. I was starving and in no mood to wait 3 hours to eat so we left. It smelled amazing though. We will go back again sometime mid afternoon when a crowd is less likely to be an issue.


In fact, since I'm not working today I think I'll get hubby to take me there. Good idea!

I was there on Wednesday around 430pm no wait but when we left it was getting packed. I live & work close to there and weekends usually 2hr wait from 3 to 8pm. Best time on weekdays is 3 to 5pm.

Very excited to try it out (again). We just moved back to the area and I recently found the Polaroid from my 13th birthday I had there. I remember the pizza being so good, hope it doesn't disappoint.
