Ya that twitter party was a waste of my time. But I won my first auction on listia for huggies rewards points so today was a total waste

Speaking about Listia. I see a lot of people on here are using it. How it works? Do you have to send everything by mail? Is it really worth it to pay for the stamps and envelopes, etc.?
The same Q to people who trade coupons. Sorry my skepticism, but I can not see how it works to be worth the while...

Think of it this way on the coupon trading. It usually cost you 2 stamps to work a trade and even if you only got a $2 coupon you would be ahead. So think I send you $1 and you give me $2 it's an no brainer your up as long as you buy the product because you need it.LOL

I had the same skepticism as you did. But they give you a bunch of free points just for signing up or doing random tasks like adding it to your facebook. So I used the free credits to bid on huggies or pampers points which they just message you the codes to online. My plan is to sell coke rewards cap points because I dont collect them and that way I earn more credits towards diapers points and it doesnt cost me anything. If I get more adventourous I might try selling something I actually need to mail to someone.

When you sign up for Listia they give you some points to work with for free as a signup bonus. Withmy free points I was able to get:

- 2 pamper diaper codes from a box of 164 size 3 pampers
- 1 Huggies wipes
- 2 icoke pins
-3 FPCs: Nestle Ice Cream, Stouffer's, and Michelina's

The pins were emailed to me, so no postage.

I have sold a couple of things now too. Still figuring out the selling end.

So I think it was more than worthwhile for me but YMMV your mileage may vary.

Thanks everybody for the replies! now I see how it works with codes on Listia (though still not convinced about coupons) But then there is a question of original codes, because I know Huggies require us to keep the stickers for verification. Not sure about Pampers...

In addition to my doubts I've got a couple of unsuccessful mail trades...The worst one was when I send a bunch of baby coupons for the total of approx. $40, she promised to mail 6+ Huggies codes. When she received coupons, she asked if she could email me the codes. I agreed and she emailed me 4 codes, 2 of which came out as expired, and promised to send more later. Should I even mention she never got back to me. And it's not that I care for those coupons or points after all, but it's a sour taste it leaves behind. So no more mail trades for me!!!

I might consider Listia and codes buys ans sells only, but, again, is there anything to control peoples honesty?

The huggies website appears to be down right now. It will only load a black webpage and the bottom of my screen claims that it is "done." Oh well, I will have to try again tomorrow.
