Is correct since its the only SLR shoppers carries.
But do you want and SLR thats $400 (a very low level entery SLR) or do you want a Point & Shoot? Price point?
Regular battiers or Lithium? I would go with lithium since digital cameras eat regular batties like candy but you will pay more for that technology in the camera.Get free gift cards for amazon & paypal. I've earned $100's with the click of my mouse!

Canon Powershot SX240HS for $279.99
DH knows cameras but his friend knows even more. This one has the latest firmware, etc.
I had a ton of points that I needed to unload right away, so on the recommendation of his friend, got one for DH.

i was looking at the fujifilm one for 220$. Wondering the same thing. I figure, the most expensive, lol. Maybe a rebel, but that is over 250$. i just wasted $ on a computer that barely functions at sdm might not even take it back so might not be able to do bonus redemption in case they do,don't know what to do
Sucks, i really wanted one this year to take pics of dd whos turning 5 it will be her last real kiddy christmas
Cannon seems like a safe bet though

I 'bought' the Canon Powershot SX240HS for $279.99 with my points a few months ago, and love it. Works really well, and I like that you can take back-to-back photos pretty quickly for a little point and shoot.
Keep in mind that SDM's electronics refund policy (yes, including cameras) says they offer NO REFUND OR EXCHANGE on purchases. So if your camera breaks you are responsible for dealing with the manufacturer regarding the warranty, not Shoppers.Want to earn free Aeroplan or HBC points for completing short surveys? I'm planning on getting the Canon T3. It costs $449.99 at my local store, so after taxes and enviro fee, it's just over $500. I'll use up 95,000 points, so final price is just over $250. Not bad for a DSLR camera
