I think I know what you mean, the backhanded compliments and such. I've seen a couple of them, I usually just ignore them because if people pay attention to the troll it'll just make them post more. Learned that the hard way with "Michelle".

I hear ya glenglen. Like maybe Walmart has their head up their butt and does not do their homework or research things and some darn ole SCer will come along and blow it for the whole World type of mentality.
That handful of bad apples here that take advantage of every sale they have a coupon for and hoard things. ~said very much tongue in cheek~
I for one enjoy lingering over every post made by those apples and love dreaming of the apple pie sweet deals.

There are forums out there for people that don't like that sort of thing. SC though is said to not bash thy neighbours for their good finds. Perhaps some peeps should go look for one of the forums that does not allow boasts and brags and not make people afraid to post their great finds.

It was michelle! or something. From what I heard it was a user who was banned and got angry, so they show up periodically under random usernames simply to cause trouble.

Yes, some people are just jealous of stockpiles and such. However, out in the real world, some of us do run into problems because of the behaviors of others. And that's the fact of the matter. It's understandable why people get upset at times. It's kind of ignorant for people to think that there is no ripple effect to their actions. I think that's what bothers people more than anything.

Maybe it's just people who get what they give? I'm always nice about things to people, so maybe thats why no one bothers with anything rude (or the fact I don't have anything by the masses..except 40 deodorants.. LOL)

......I rarely post because of some comments I have recieved...even with the pet donations....some ppl p'm neg comments to me....but I do like reading brags as it informs me on where I can go to get the same deals !!

While to some extent, I agree with you, I find this thread just as negative and I think reminding people that clearing the shelves or misusing coupons helps others reading it know that it is not something that is done by all couponers, especially at a time when there are a lot of newbies on the site. However, there is a way to say it and a way to just be grumpy (insert other words lol) and those who are would be like that no matter what is posted
