So I just found this site about a week and a half ago and have become coupon obsessed!!

this weekend i found myself wandering around our local grocery store and picking up coupons for various things....even my 6 year old helped!!

so the other day i received in the mail from huggies, a coupon for one free package of wipes (184 count), as well as 2-$2 off coupons

***cashed in the FP earlier in the week, then this week no frills had the 184 count wipes on for 4.99 so I used both of my $2 off coupons
4.99-2*2= 7.23 after taxes, still less than one package would have cost normally....then i went back and grabbed another 2 packages with my $1 off coupons

wipes alone I save FP $8, $6 in other coupons total of 14bucks

then I had received the new parent pack in the mail from Johnsons and Johnsons....used FP coupon to get a gift set from walmart worth 17 bucks, used 1 of the $1 off coupons towards a travel pack of shampoo etc for the hopsital

    saved 18 bucks there

    _____________________________________

the new minute maid heart wise orange juice i had found some coupons for at the local grocery store for $1 off

no frills had on sale for 1.99 after coupons I only paid 0.99 for each 2l carton
    saved $5 (bought 5)

    _______________________

so for my first week of looking for coupons and actually using them I have saved ourselves 37 bucks!!!!

have decided I am putting all the saved money into a large coffee can with notes of where the saving came from and when we get a decent amount in there will spend on something nice for the family!!
