    I am in need here.I have been having problems with the Whitby Walmart the one on Brock road near RCSS.
    Everytime I use coupons it's an issue. I am not doing anything wrong.

    Today, for example I went thru I regular checkout with only 7 coupons. I was screamed at by customers (for holding the line up), screamed at by CSM and the cashier. It took 15 minutes to find out if they could ring the coupons in.
    The thing is when I want to check out they want me to go to customer service to pay. But either way because they are uneducated in there policy and simply can't read a coupon I will be holding up a line up. But it was only 7 coupons thats it. This is not the first time it has happened. I asked her "so everyone who uses coupons has to go to customer service to check out?" the CSM tells me, "I'm the only one who uses coupons here". COME ON, really. I'm the lone person. I'm fed up and have called head office so many times. I then said can I speak to the manager and I told her everything. She said within the next three days she will fix this problem. Cashier screamed at me saying "you can't use these coupons BLAH BLAH BLAH" Embarrassing. Customers huffing and puffing making comments. First CSM a young mean un aware of any type of coupons shrugged it said I don't know and gave me a look. Second CSM screamed at me for not checking out at customer service
    .

    I just want others to know what's going on.
    Oh and Zellers in Ajax don't bother going I have never seen a company change there policy every other week. Disgusting. I'm done with this store

    Like I want to make a coupon movement where we couponers are treated fairly.

    So sorry you were treated that way. no one should be treated like that. Tell the other Cx that you are doing the same thing as them buying what you need!!! Tell them if they don`t like it choose another line next time lol.

    Oh my goodness, please call their HO or email them, that is absolutely horrible. They need to train people properly, not demand YOU go out of your way to check out somewhere special.

    What a nightmare! I've just started and so far, other than coupon scrutiny have not experienced anything negative. I've convinced my DH to join me but I know if he had one bad experience like yours he'd be done.

    That's just terrible!
    I have been doing coupons for..well let's just say a very long time and i have learned to bring a huge sense of humor along with my coupons when i go shopping...lol!. you just never really know how it's gonna go.

    Although, agreed, I'd put up a stink with that CSM and the cashier. Hope you got her name.
    The other customers? Bah, who cares? You don't know them, and likely they're just jealous and feel like fools for not knowing how to do what we do!

    That is absolute garbage....I hope your raise one hell of a stink over this. No one deserves to be treated this way...as the PP said, I hope you got their names. Ridiculous.

    That is to bad. I think the other customers are just jelous of your coupons and they are paying full price. My local WM coupons are a big problem for them, i have stood waiting for 15 minutes for a manger to come over and help out. So every since i started couponing i have switched to RCSS they are way better at taking coupons, They are alot more knowledgeable when it comes to coupons.

    OMG I am so sorry to hear about that disgusting treatment! You should most definitely have a discussion with the head store manager and/or HO!! That is so uncalled for - especially when they happen to be a store with an 'actual' corporate coupon policy!

    As for the customers.....hmmmmmm it is really sad that's the way people act :-( And you know people should really learn to keep their comments to themselves in a case like that. We don't ever know everyone's 'story' or situation - what if coupons are your livelyhood and you require this to make ends meet each month? What an 'ars' they would feel like then. We are all motivated by different reasons to use coupons and source out the best deals we can and those people have no idea what your motivation or 'story' is!!!

    I really hope you are able to get some resolve at the store level and that you don't need to take it to HO - but you definitely should!

    I think that all SCers in the Whitby area should flood that store on a specific day, within a 2 hour window, just to make a point that couponers are EVERYWHERE! Especially when they told you that you're the only one to use them there! Then, if they give everyone flack, make them aware of the hundreds (thousands?) of dollars that will be leaving their store if they don't get their S*!T together! If they give you grief, leave your full carts at the check out or customer service and let them know why you're leaving. The GM depends on his/her store doing well. It would be a serious black smudge on them if their sales drop, or if there is a sudden rash of complaints at head office!!!
