checked it out on your link, love that coat, great cut and length. I'm always concerned about the customs cost with buying on US sites. Sometimes I see amazing prices on Amazon.com vs. .ca but with shipping and customs I hestitate. Great that you have an Amerifriend.

You are right about the customs cost. We planned the trip to see our friends early in the year. The Macy's deal was an afterthought. Friends are great about accepting the delivery, or we would no do it.

By the way, I should brag about the cost of the flight. We got our flight for $99 each way. Right now they want $439 one way

Were you able to pay with you Canadian credit card while having it shipped to the States? If not, how did you pay? In the past, they would not take a credit card with a Canadian billing address to ship to the States. This is something that prevented me to shop on Macys.com. I don't have a Amerifriend, but I use a package receiving service near the border and drive to get my stuff (I'm about 1h from the US border)

Our "Amerifriends" are Canadian. Just moved to the states a while ago. Since they have "gone away" we bring Canadian goodies that they miss ("from home").

Thanks for the update, I'll add Macy's to the list of websites where I can shop now. Was not like that 2-3 years ago, I remember my sister having to order over the phone an item on her Amerifriend Macy's Wedding Registry.
