It’s no secret that more and more holiday shopping is now done online, but apparently many Americans buy loved ones gifts while on the toilet. Some 16% of mobile-device owners do their holiday shopping in the bathroom, according to a recent survey by CashStar, a digital gifting company.

I don't really understand the appeal of prolonging my time in the bathroom. I just want to get in and get out. My couch is a lot more comfy than a toilet seat, so I'd prefer to do my shopping in a more conventional place.

Maybe the only place they get privacy if ordering for someone in the household? I dunno, it is enough just to try and keep the cats out and not giving themselves a concussion for the time I am in there without prolonging it

I spent 15 years doing customer service in a call center for various company.... crazy what people do while calling their cell phone/cable/internet provider and even revenue canada...
