Zellers: 12 items for 0.02$ no coupon or SCOP involved. WHOUHOU!!!

Sorry no pic but still my best deal ever!

I went at Zellers this morning and found a Teenage girls packs (kind of kit that have a lot of products in it). Regular price 7.97$, sale 5.99$. I thought is was no bad but probably will no be able the apply coupon on it. So I went to scan the packs to see if there was another reduction on it. I scan it and it scan at 0.01$ !!!!!! Look to see if there was anonther bar code on it but no. Run back in the aisle to see if there was more and found another one. Look for about 15 minutes on each shelf but the only ones they have was the two that I took. At the counter, the cashier told me it was a mistake and he can't leave it to me because the kits shouldn't be on shelfs and that probably the expiry date on the product as pass. Told him that I never saw an expiry date on a toothbrush and I don't reminber seeing one on shampoo. So he call a manager and explain the problem. Manager came and told him that it was Zellers problem since the packs was on the shelfs and to let me have have them for the price scan. Told the cashier to call someone in the department to make sure there is no other (which I know the didn't find any since I look everywere to found other!). And believe it not but before leave, the manager told me there will be no refund on it (like I would go back for 2 cents!!!!)

Here's the products I got:
2 Soft & dry deodorant (expiry date 10MR, well to bad)
2 Garnier Fructis Style reworkable paste 150 m (no expiry)
2 Garner Fructis fortifying shampoo and conditionner 384 ml (no expiry)
2 Dippity-do extra hold gel 350 ml (no expiry)
2 Glysomed Body lotion 250 ml (no expiry)
2 Aquafresh toothbrush (no expiry, of course!!!)

WTG! I used to live near a Zellers and around Feb/March they would always have amazingly low toy prices, unadvertised of course lol..once I went to buy a Tag book for my son it said it was 14.99 on it and when I cashed out it turns out to be on sale for $2!

Zellers is notorious for their out of date scanning programs. Here, it is store policy that if anything scans for a penny, well you get it. But then the colleagues have to rip them off the floor asap and the rest go out back to get marked a sale price and thrown in a cart.
Problem is, the Zellers that most people shop at is grossly understaffed and therefore the products are not kept an eye on. I like to shop there bc I ALWAYS pay less than I think. There just is no staff to work the departments!

Great job on the haul! Also, the deo which "expired" should still be good. The only thing that expires in deo is the anti-perspirant. I'd still use it.

Actually, girl who was call to take out any package left on shelfs (which again, I'm there wasn't any leaft) say that she would take out the bottle of the package and sell them individually. I'm guessing that individually each bottles will be around to 2.50$-3$ each which make me save much more!!!
