Thread: Finally got a Dyson!!!!!!!!!!

The guy never bought it himself. It was given as a gift. The receipt was a "gift" receipt. (You know how you can get a gift receipt when u buy something for someone but doesn't include the actual price.) It didn't have the price, just the date, and place it was purchased. Hope that makes sense. I am quite sure if the receipt had the price included he would have done just that- got the money back!

hmmm...thats a good point!
even if it was a gift receipt...you can still return the item. That's the whole point of a gift receipt.
you can give it to the person so that they can return the unit if they don't want it.
maybe he had no use for an $800 credit at the store it was purchased at.
im hoping for a Dyson one day....I know i'll always have a large hairy dog in my life....so i keep telling myself it's a must!Last edited by Sunshyne1; Thu, Dec 20th, 2012 at 10:51 AM.

It's amazing how a good vacuum can get everyone all excited!! I just bought the robovacuum a few months ago... the Rumba for pets and I actually screamed in delight when it went UNDER the bed...I've been following it around in extasy for months now..../sigh...I may be in love.

I will never buy another vacuum cleaner. We got our Dyson approx. 6 years ago. It is simply amazing. Even had a part replaced free of charge.
Open an account with Tangerine (ING) using my ORANGE KEY...29564343S1. When you open an account and deposit 100.00 you and I will both receive $25.00. Wait that's not all.....I will also send you 15.00 worth of coupons from your wishlist as a way of saying thanks.

I have a Dyson as well, paid the full $500 and have never regretted it. I went through at least 5 vacuums prior to that so this made sense. I did have an issue with the first one and they fixed it, still had an issue and then they replaced it with the next higher model. No problems now. I can't believe how quickly it fills up so I know it is doing a good job.

I LOVE my dyson. We have two big shedding dogs, (I have allergies) and the Dyson is my lifesaver. Well worth any extra money I think.

I cleaned houses professionally for a few years... IMO Dyson is the best. It always has amazed me how much more a Dyson will pull out of the carpets. Way to go on the deal!

I'm so jealous. I would love a Dyson but every time I mention it to my husband, he rolls his eyes and says "it's too expensive". Maybe one day I'll find one for a really good price and I'll buy it without telling him. Lol.
