Hey all! I've got some family showing up this weekend and I'm looking for some ideas where to go to eat, preferably not the chain type places (Earls, Marios, Denny's etc). So where do you go? Where is good? Where has decent service?

We have had pretty good meals at the ABC Country restaurant. The service was a little slow last time we were there but it wasn't bad overall.

lol! ABC is good...'cept the last time my mom was here we waited 45 minutes for lunch and ended up walking out because they hadn't even taken our order let alone brought us our drinks. So they are kinda low on my list these days

Is Applebees a chain?! lol Heard they got their poop in a group and are betetr! And have a deal now.. appie and 2 entrees for $25!

Uhm, what about that one on geatz... new-ish.. used to be.. uhm.. i forget.. lol.. but it can't be too far from boston pizza.. more north... same side... I think the name evn has a # in it?! Heard good things about that place!

ohh Mongoli Grill, that may be a good one, I haven't been there forever! I was thinking about restruant 27, has anybody eaten there? Applebees is okay, but I've taken them there before...I'm trying to switch things up lol!

I wasnt too impressed with resturant 27. Not that it was bad but nothing over and above for the price point. I love Mongoli Grill for the buffett style of choosing what you want and the sauces and can be heathly choice too if you want.

What about the new pizza place called The Rock (I think) over by booster juice in the South. My family, not I have eaten there a few times and said its great. And the atmoshere was suppose to be good too, with rock stuff on the walls like the Hard Rock cafe's.
