    My dh has be researching LARGE TVs since he saw his daughter's HUGE one this summer.

    He found one he loved just before the college football playoffs. I pointed out that it would probably go on sale after Christmas - but the sales person pointed out that they had a 60 day price guarantee.

    DH found a Boxing Day flier showing the same TV for $300 less. We took it in today and lo and behold they would not have honoured it since the flier pointed out that the Brick was advertising only 500 chain wide. BUT..... This company itself (Leon's) is having the same price come up for it's own Boxing Day sale. So they are going to refund us $300! Yippity DO DAH!

    In November it was announced that Leon's Furniture Ltd. had bought its competitor The Brick Ltd. in a deal worth roughly $700-million - so darn right they should honor the price regardless of which flyer it is in I'd say!

    That's absolutely amazing!

    How big is it? We just recently went from a 20" to a 36" (we got it free), and my eyes still keep going cross-eyed when I watch, I'm having trouble getting adjusted to it. Our living room is huge, so it's not that the tv is too close.

    It's 55". You can see the "pores" on people's faces! (My dh Loves it!- he can see the grass blades on the golf courses!) But I was happy enough with our 36" one.
