I work just across the street from the Guelph location. I will pop in at lunch time and see what it is like.

I'm not really sure how all of you are finding out when the stores are opening as I checked all these newspaper links and the target canada website and none of them have exact opening dates, just months.
So as far as I can tell its all speculation as to when which stores open when.Insert Clever Signature Here

The SquareOne location looks almost ready. I saw people coming in and out so it should be soon. I talked to my sister in the USA about my excitement of having a Target store near my house and she said "There's nothing special about Target".

The one very special thing about it: WALLYWORLD is finally going to have some true competition. Should be good for a reality check. Wallyworld seems to think they can bully consumers lately. My local Wallyworld was greeting people at the doors this morn and everything was so clean and organized for once. When I was greeted this morn I replied with a T-Minus 30 days and counting for TARGET hehehehehe you shoulda seen the face on the CSM just PRICELESS.......

The Globe and Mail website has a sneak peek inside the Guelph Target http://www.theglobeandmail.com Call me disappointed it's Zellers it's only cleaner and tidier. They even call unadvertised sales a temporary price cut isn't that what Zellers called them too.
