I say hollow means no calories.......THATS MY STORY AND I'M STICKING TO IT........ :P
I agree with the meditating,,,I took a class last year to learn how to meditate properly.I was so embarrassed after the first class because I fell asleep and woke up to just me and the instructor in the room, I did get better at it but it is really hard for me to clear my mind completely and when I managed to do it I fell asleep!
Busy day today.
I had Greek yogurt with some hemp and blackberries, lunch is half a chicken breast with salad and salmon, brown rice and roasted asparagus and broccoli.
had 4 stuffed grape leaves and some green grapes for lunch, still hungry now thinking about something else lol
Lol....oh, yes, I've done that many times only at home, not in a class....There is a lovely site on line that I've used to meditate with...we have a guest bed in this computer room so it's easy for me to set the computer up and lay down...of course I just realized I could use my ipad, too....:)
THIS ONE is so RELAXING...you don't need to understand all the words...just listen to them...I love this one!!!
It's one hour, but SO worth it! It feels like you're wrapped in love....

Here's an interesting site; it takes some navigating, but with a pot of coffee
(okay, maybe decaf) on hand, it's worth the search...

I'm sure it works for men, too...lol...
Beautiful and serene as can be!

Want to astral travel? I used to be able to do it without any help at all after my spritual course...then I got scared and, sadly, stopped...but this is remarkable...it's not a one-time thing, but it's worth it....

Great. Now I've moved onto decorating videos....this could take all day...sigh....
I had my usual 1-minute oatmeal: 2/3c water, 1/3c oats, nuked 2 min, with a few raisins, then added splenda and milk.
Nothing for lunch, yet, but I did purchase tiny pitas and pizza sauce, so I'm thinking of little pizzas with a small slice of pepperoni, sprinkled with shredded light cheese. I'm allowed 5. We'll see how that goes...:)
If it continues to warm up ( a very relative term these days!) I'll take Jenny for a longish walk...that will be my exercise for today.
UPDATE: that was very tasty and satisfying for only 260 calories!!
5 mini pitas: 120
1/5th (at the most) of pepperoni: 90 (turkey pepperoni would have saved even more calories)
few tbsp of pizza sauce: 30
sprinkles of shredded light cheese: 20
And I'm allowed 350 for lunch?! I love it! I could have a few more if I wanted to...but that was quite enough, really....yum!:P
Chinese noodles with steamed kale , brocolli and asperagus
I did 1 mug Dandelion root tea this a.m. followed by soup I bought from a filipino place yesterday. It does have some salt, but it's a clear broth with lots of green veg, and a few beef chunks cooked so tender in it. Lunch was Organic very low salt tortilla chips, sprinkled with grated low fat mozzarella, and organic mango/peach salsa.
More tea. then a coffee....handful of unsalted shelled pumpkin seeds and handful unsalted shelled sunflower seeds.
A banana around 6:00, now I want chocolate!!! The kids ate all that was left here from Easter ( I REALLY must remember to thank them for that)
Thanks for the links Lynn! Hopefully I will have some time to check them out.Still on spring cleaning and a major declutter, but I am making progress. Have a funeral Saturday and off to see Randy Bachman in Calgary on Sunday, and sadly back to work on Monday. My week off has flown by.Good luck with the weigh in tomorrow everyone!
I weighed myself tonight. I am up 2. This is okay with me as I am in my plateauing range. Ready to hit the weekend running...perhaps literally?!?!
I found 2 Aero bubble eggs :P and then they disappeared
I was such a bad girl today.
I had a couple of Quaker granola bars, okay, 4.....and an egg salad sandwich. I ate a cinnamon bun (and the licking of my fingers caused a man to almost drive off the road.....mmmm cinnamon), a granola parfait from zehrs, and a half a bottle of wine because my kids were little brats at the grocery store and i needed the sugar :)
Oh, Honey...we're certainly all human, aren't we? Lol! Stress eating is a witch. But you're a strong woman, and can start fresh tomorrow, leaving today behind you. No pun intended....
UP +3.
I deserve that...I was "playing at" being on a diet, yes, I was eating proper "meals", but my snacking got a little out of control.
But that serves as my slap upside my head, which I needed to get me back into true diet mode....um...except for today and going out for lunch with our DD. It's not easy going to an Italian restaurant that perpetually smells like garlic and butter, and order something on-plan, esp since I can't have salads. I'll probably make as good a choice as I can...then off to a nursing home this afternoon with Jenny for a visitation...busy day...hope that works off a few calories!!
Everyone: have a lovely weekend! Don't crucify yourselves if you're not where you want to be, or if you didn't achieve the results you had hoped for....the war isn't over, but the skirmishes continue...
