I did the 20x WUS $50 promo and tried to use the 8000bp WUS $40 VIB coupon. I am now battling with SDM HO as they say you cannot combine the two promos because the 8000bp WUS $40 VIB is not item specific.

Has anyone successfully combined both promos before???

From the two e-mails I received from SDM:
VIB Coupons can be combined when bonus points are item specific, however cannot be combined when a promotional threshold needs to be met.
and
As per the Terms and Conditions Optimum point promotions cannot be combined. As the 20x the points offer was received which was the better of the two offers the additional 8,000 points will not be awarded.

Typically i will only use BP coupons when it's not a 20x event to avoid any problems. The few times i have, i've only done it when the 20x points are added automatically and not at a later date. I find the "added at a later date" ones are very picky and I tend to be sure i get to 50.00 even after coupons and never use BP coups so there isn't a reason not to give me my points. I've done it before and so have alot of others. The cashier may not allow it but if they do it should work. I just don't recommend using them on the "will be added later" pts events as some don't get their points.

no but seperate into 2 transaction into two different card. Then transfer pts into 1 and redeem.
